I have studied in this school from Nursery 1 to Class 3 (2010-16). Teachers are not at all good. The school presurrizes a lot from Grade 3. I had to leave this school because of extra pressure, poor environment and faculty. The teachers are only concerned about the toppers and you are bound to feel insecure here. I joined Indus Valley World School after leaving Garden High. IVWS is far better than GHS. Teachers are good and compassionate, proper environment, focussing on extra curricular activities which is very important for all students.

Garden high school is a very good school of play and learning. They have a very large campus with three buildings. One is the junior high, another is senior high school and the third is the ghs international. There is a large field where lot of games like cricket, football, badminton, is played. Also during the break time, children are allowed to play in the field. They are also allowed to bring football and tennis ball and badminton from home to play. They have a games room where all the equipment is stored. They also have a chess and table tennis setup. There is a two storey library where it is divided into three sections. Junior section, senior section and reference section. The classrooms are moderate in size with almost fifteen benches in each class. The classes have fans, open classrooms and tv s , for video demonstration. They have an audio and visual room. They have home science lab, physics lab, chemistry 🧪 lab and biology lab fitted with latest equipment. They also have a ac hall were seminars are held. In all, ghs is a school of excellence where students come before all.

One of the best schools in town. But it's too costly. But the main advantage is they build your child. You don't need to worry about education. You will be surprised to know how your child learnt all those things even without your help.

It's really a good school and I'm an ex student (currently in GHIS). I was here till class VII. However, I had to leave and couldn't continue till class 12 as I wasn't being able to handle the pressure, this school pressurises a lot. Despite the fact that the ratio between the students and the teacher is 1:20, having a tuition is definitely a must! The overall system is great.

This is the most disgusting claustrophobic anti-student body that runs under the garb of "educational institute". Only academics, studies, marks, ranks, toppers, etc run in its glossary. It never provided a holistic environment for learning. As a mother of a student (for 8 years) admitted in ghs, sexism pervaded from the school diary itself- "for simplicity, a student has been referred as 'he'" thus disregarding all other genders. Kabaddi competition, community service were organised, singers picked up for choirs but all students had no idea when these were done! They vouched for every student to be a mathematician, a researcher, scientist or academician. All other streams were looked down upon by teachers such that the students availing private coaching of schoolteachers could only benefit. Maths book of std. VIII was introduced to students belonging to VII and this went on till Cls X. I heard that students scoring pass marks in mock tests of the ICSE batch were not allowed to sit for boards (verified). Once my daughter sat for her Bengali language paper in which she opted for a topic of a letter to a friend- stating about her school. She criticised Garden High School, stating honest opinion. The examiner took her paper to the principal asking what to do with it! She kept on losing interests with age as she is/ was a sports lover and found no channel to spend her energy. Bullies were employed by the authority in the name of 'teachers' who made students' lives miserable. The star is for the times my ward enjoyed her music lessons, made a few friend and miniscule cooperative faculty. She and I had let out a sense of relief after she made her way out of this low-grade prison.

It's a professionally Managed School. I admitted both my kids here but taken them out to other school based on my needs for my wards. I can easily park my vehicles as the road nearby school is quite broad in compare to other schools where its difficult to park vehicles. School is well maintained, and school rooms are spacious and neatly managed. Communication over the portal and land phones for various reasons are very easy to manage. Parents gets all classes related important notifications through WhatsApp. Regarding academics, if the students follow the classes, then they don't need to study while going back to home. But how many students seriously follows that, big question. So as a result the students get pressurized while at home to cover school syllabus. Extra-curricular activities are missing here. Even if something happens, that goes for selected students only. I think every student need equal opportunity to showcase their skills. School need to take care of this as well. They need to make all students feel responsible and important. Parent can meet School teacher and Principal as an when needed and get updates about their ward. Teachers and principal are very helpful and provide necessary guidance. School provides free remedial Classes for students who needs improvement to subject they are weak. School Portal Helps Parents to gets information and lodge any complain or register for activities or pay fees and get any information about their wards easily online without visiting School. Overall, the school is highly organized, and a good system is in place. For Academic excellence and book-based education, they score 10/10 but for Overall Students improvement, they scored poor, they need to take care of this little gray areas for overall performance.

Garden High School may be a good school ,but the management is Opaque, you cannot reach out to the principal. He you cannot seek appointment but will be "granted appointment" if deemed fit by the office people. I had admitted my daughter and withdrew from here without the session being started. The high handednees of the staff is apalling. There is no co-ordination between accounts section, adminstration and all. I doubt whether actually issues pertaining to child are at all addressed here. The first red flag I noticed in the interaction session was the advice us, was to not discuss issues amongst parents ,which helps them to cover up. We withdrew via email and submitted documents in person on 31st March,2023 and they acknowledged the receipt of the same, but today on 10th April 2023 they deducted from the account. The only thing school administration is hell bent on harrassing. Now have to run arround to get back my hard earned money.
