For the past half century and more, Cluny Convent High School in Bangalore has been striving hard to make Anne Marie's vision a reality.
Cluny Convent High School, Malleswaram, came into existence in the year 1948.
The aim of the institution is to impart an all round education based on Christian principles and values to the pupils who come to study here. Great care is taken to give sound moral training to the pupils through the religious and moral instruction classes which is part of the curriculum, and to instil in them love for prayer and work as stands the School Motto, Pray and Work.
Cluny Convent High School, Malleswaram, came into existence in the year 1948. It is a recognized private unaided institution run by the Bangalore branch of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny, registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960. Classes are conducted in a spacious building situated on 11th Main Road, Near 15th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore, Karnataka State, India.
The medium of instruction is English and the school academic year is from June to April. There are three vacations in the year; the Summer vacation about 6 weeks, Dasara about 10 days and Christmas vacation about 2 weeks. Pupils are prepared for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E) examinations taken at the end of Std. X. This examination is conducted by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. Co-curricular and Extra curricular activities are given due emphasis in the time table. Physical Education, Dramatics, Karate, Singing, Debates, Girl Guiding etc are some activities which enable the pupils to get an all round formation. Pupils are divided into four Houses: Anne Marie's, Cecilia's, Theresa's and Alphonsa's-in order to build up team work and healthy competition.
Library books are issued to pupils every week. Adequate facilities are also available for reference work. The aim of the institution is to impart an all round education based on Christian principles and values to the pupils who come to study here. The school is primarily meant for Catholics. However, admission is given to other pupils also, irrespective of religion, caste or community. Great care is taken to give sound moral training to the pupils through the religious and moral instruction classes, which are part of the curriculum, and to instil in them love for prayer and work as stands the school Motto, Pray and Work. Efforts are made to awaken in the students sincere concern and love for the poor and the less privileged. They are also motivated to cherish the rich cultural heritage of our motherland.
At Cluny, we educate all those who are entrusted to us not only in academics but also in human and spiritual values so that they learn to respect each other as children of one God in a pluralistic society like ours.

One of the best school if your thinking, education is really good along with other activities, thy also have karate and bharatanatyam sports day singing recitation etc to engage kids. If I should speak about education it's really really good, they keep dictation etc to ensure kids learn and answer infact they train kids for test and exam to be scored good. They also have olampiad exam option I can never have second thought and enrolled my kid here. No doubt I would say go ahead to enroll

Once Cluny Convent was good school principal sr.Janet, the staff members as well as fee counter member are so rude and cruel with parents who had come for addmission they have attitude problem. My parents are from Kolkata there education system differs alot from Bengaluru they are not much educated, they wasn't knowing the difference between ISC and puc syllabus. Staff member asked us to pay the half amount with 19th April,23 my parent had paid the fee ,that day itself among my mom's friend circle she got to know that ISC is very different from puc, since that day (15 days) we are requesting the management to refund amount I heard that Christianity school doesn't have any greedyness being follower of Jesus Christ they don't understand the middle class family problems. After the pandemic we are suffering alot from financial problem but these humans don't understand IT'S MY HUMBLE REQUEST NOT TO ADMIT OR SUGGEST UR LOVED ONCE ABOUT THIS SCHOOL

Every year simply they will collect money for uniforms and stationary they won't consider whether the kids want to buy everytime r they are having extra pair in this pandemic also they are collecting money a month before the school got started that time we all exchanged with what they gave before a year even though In lockdown again they are collecting money for next year they can give us the options that we can directly buy from the venders if we are in need they need to change this rule it helps lot of parents
