The mission of The Prerana Waldorf School has at its root a social impulse for working with children ages 3 to 16 based on healthy human development and a commitment to protect and nurture childhood as the very foundation of a truly human culture. We are committed to the ideals and practices of Waldorf education which genuinely respects the dignity of childhood and a socially inclusive understanding of human individuality. We recognize that free creative play, imitation, exploration of the social and natural worlds, practical and meaningful work, artistic activities, and nourishing sensory experiences are essential to the development of the young child Through our programs and activities, we offer children a comprehensive and rhythmic experience of each day, week, and season of the year. We strive for diversity and inclusivity with regards to the social, cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds of the families and children who are a part of our school community. Likewise, we strive to meet the varying and unique developmental needs, capacities, and cultural backgrounds of each and every child. Our curriculum, from early childhood through high school strives to inspire students through a program of rigorous academics, diverse artistic activities, physical and outdoor education, leading them towards clarity in their thinking, sensitivity in their feeling, and meaningful purpose in their actions. We recognize that well balanced child development is possible only within the context of a community of consciously striving individuals committed to healthy social relationships between parents, teachers, and children. The partnership of parents and teachers nourishes the well being of all members of our community, adults and children alike. It is our intention to build such a community based upon mutual respect, compassion, and tolerance, inclusive and embracing of our social and cultural diversity. Our faculty and staff are qualified and responsible professionals by virtue of their education, experience, and on-going commitment to continuing education and professional development. Teachers have formal training and education in the methods and practices of Waldorf education, as well as meeting all State requirements and are actively engaged in deepening their understanding of the curriculum through collegial work, individual study and artistic activities. We support the professional development of our teachers through regular mentoring, peer partnerships, review, and evaluation as well as providing opportunities for them to attend conferences, training courses and workshops. The professionalism and commitment of our teachers is clearly reflected in the respect and concern they show towards the children, their families, and society as a whole.

I visited this school twice hoping so much to join my daughter as I like their educational system but had to pull back myself for 2 main reasons. Same feedback was heard from my colleagues as well.
Both the times I visited the school, I checked all classrooms as part of their tour and found despite having less lighting, lights are also not turned on. This might sound insignificant but half of early vision issues in kids happen due to poor lightening in schools and at home, in addition to kids screentime. Vision is clearly at stake looking at their classroom lighting.
Another mail reason is their washrooms. They are NOT at all hygiene and since my daughter wanted to go to washroom, I took her with their permission and found that they are filthy and even water is not coming from washbasin. I am not sure how a school charging lakhs of rupees as academic fee not even able to have hygienic washrooms.
I so wanted to join my daughter for their educational system but couldn't compromise on these 2 important factors.
I heard similar reviews from other parents as well.
I asked them about these but their answer wasn't convincing.
Hope some day they will realize the importance of hygiene environment and kids vision and I wish to join my daughter back in there.

I have been a parent of a child who began her school career at Prerana Waldorf School as a five year old and now he is in sixth grade. The connection between our natural world, child development and academics is brought into a daily reality. We have been so fortunate to be able to be part of this institution. Our experience with the faculty has been one of mutual respect and willingness to encourage each child to reach their heart's and mind's potential. The curriculum is introduced and taught in a way that connects each child to the outside world in a way that meets them intrinsically. Math, science, language and arts are all part of the daily routine. Ultimately my son is receiving a well rounded education.

As a former student of Prerana Waldorf School, I am privileged to share my experience with this institution. Prerana provides an enriching academic environment while fostering creative ideas. I was privileged to be taught by amazing teachers who inspired me and guided me in the right direction. The curriculum is well designed and retains the spirit of waldorf education.

I attended Prerana Waldorf School from 9th to 12th grade, and my experience there has had a profound impact on my personal growth.
In fact initially, I struggled with stage fright and never imagined being able to deliver speeches. However, the exceptional teachers at Prerana guided and supported me, enabling me to overcome this fear.
Now, in college and at work, I receive compliments on my public speaking abilities.
Overall, Prerana has truly transformed me into a more confident and accomplished individual, and I will always be grateful to my wonderful teachers for their invaluable contribution to my development and for inspiring me to dream big.
