I am a resident of this locality. There is no problem with the school. However the guards of the school stand regularly in the middle of the footpath and do not allow people to pass. The school has already got its own parking space on the street. I don’t think the footpath is owned by the school or the guards. Only god knows what requires such long discussions by guards to not allow others to walk by. When asked to move they did but there is one dark complexioned guard who used foul language to which he got the same reply. But this should not continue. If it does I will involve the police.

Excellent school starting from Nursery to Class XII. This CBSE board and is an old school established in 1941. Great teachers and their focus is not only on education but also a big stress is on extra curricular activities

Very good school providing good care pf students and keep proper care of the children.... All teachers are good and co-operative.... School is neat and clean with proper maintenance of the building makes it looks nice.... All good but it could be better...Rest all the best for the future of the school

Birla High School, Kolkata (formerly Hindi High School) is famed for its standard & quality Academics over the past 80 years legacy in the city & also in the country. The Institution (CBSE) under Birla's provides State of the Art - Infrastructural facilities i.e. multi storied school building, apt faculty, exquisite Auditorium (Vidya Mandir Hall - 2 Floors), playground, Library, Labs, Tablet Classes, Canteen, Infirmary & hygienic ambience. Inter school Odyssey Fest is commendable. But Pricy Fees structure.
