We are committed to provide education to the girls from rural background. Our aim is to search and develop the talents in the field of academics, culture and sports. The school has a sprawling area of 10 acres and is committed to provide education with facilities of science labs, library, computer labs, play grounds and sport fields. The school will also provide boarding facilities to distant students.Drawing inspiration from the life and idelas of Maharaja Surajmal, the eighteenth century ruler of Bharatpur, the Surajmal Memorial Education Society was founded in 1972 in New Delhi with a view to provide educational facilities to the Indian people, especially those belonging to the rural areas. The Society has about eight thousand members largely coming from the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. The Society in right earnest decided to open educational institutions to meet its aims and objects.Starting with certificate and diploma courses in technical education in the early eighties it has by now set up three institutes of higher education at its Janakpuri campus in New Delhi viz.Maharaja Surajmal Institute-MSI (1999), Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology MSIT (2001) and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Pharmacy-MSIP (2003) with a student strength of more than 2500 pursuing different courses under affiliation of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.Having established its high credentials as an educational provider in Delhi the Society has embarked on its plan of setting up educational institutions in different states, especially in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.The affairs of the society are managed by an executive committee, which has experienced educationists, civil servants and public men as-members.
