Siddhartha International School is an English medium co-educational senior secondary (10 2) residential public school affiliated to the C.B.S.E., New Delhi under the management of Siddhartha Educational & Charitable Trust (Regd.), Samalkha, Haryana. The school follows the basic principle and ideals of Buddhist philosophy to make the students a better human being and an ideal citizen of India.The school is named SIDDHARTHA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL after the name of SIDDHARTHA the childhood name of Gautam Buddha. The Buddha sacrified all the material comforts available to him in search of true knowledge to get himself enlightened and in turn enlightened the man-kind. His teachings are ever relevant specially in the backdrop of present day world scenario, which demands restraint, ahimsa (non-violence) and kindness towards humanity. Guided by Buddhas philosophy and ideals for the humanity, some philanthropists and educationists founded the Siddhartha Educational & Charitable Trust in the year 1991. The trust cares for the orphans, semi-orphans and destitute children. The trust aims at promoting the values of love and kindness so forcefully taught by the Lord Buddha, through Educational and Charitable activities.
