50-80 points – The most important factor. Schools award points based on how close your home is to the school (measured in kilometers).
Sibling
10-30 points – If your child's brother or sister is currently studying at the same school, you get these bonus points.
Alumni
5-20 points – Awarded if either parent completed their Class X or XII from the same school.
First-born / Girl Child
0-30 points – Some schools give preference to first-born children or the girl child as per DoE guidelines.
