The school which houses more than 9000 students was founded in the year 1972, the second branch after Delhi Public School Mathura Road. DPS R. K. Puram is a CBSE affiliated school, and often features at the top of various rankings for academic excellence. Academics
Students can enrol from class 6th to 12th. The subjects offered from class 6th to class 10th are: English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Studies, foreign language like French/ Sanskrit/ Japanese/ Spanish/ German. At senior secondary level, students can opt from science, commerce (with and without maths) and humanities streams. Classes are designed in a way that students can become self learners, the curriculum supports experiential learning, developing critical and analytic thinking. The curriculum also includes information & communication technology, visual and performing arts, physical and health education, and life skills.
Children also get the opportunity to participate and pursue various hobbies. They participate in inter and intra section competitions, class assemblies, annual day events, celebrations, and social awareness campaigns.

The classrooms are well ventilated and the student to teacher ratio is 40:1 so that faculty can pay attention to every student. Fee Structure
The fees range from 1,91,365 to 1,95,665 depending on the grade and stream that your child takes admission in. This fee does not include hostel admission and boarding charges. Admission Process
The school invites applications for class 9th and class 11th in online mode. Applicants can only register online by clicking the “Online Registration”. Once you have filled out the form, the candidate will appear for an entrance test. The students who qualify the test will have to make fee payment and appear for document verification. Faculty
