Admission Process

For admission, the parents need to fill out a form generated by the school and wait for them to revert back. The form is available online which enables everyone to enroll without their application getting affected. The school, upholding its ideals of mutual support provides a reservation in seats for the Economically weaker section ( 25%). 

Fee structure

Curriculum

The school is affiliated to the CBSE board and offers education starting from Pre-primary up to Grade 12. In an effort to encourage holistic academic development, multiple activities are combined with the guidance of well-educated teaching staff to maximize the student’s growth. The curriculum is bifurcated as below:

  • Pre Primary classes – In the initial years, the design of the curriculum coupled with experiential activities play a crucial role in promoting cognitive, linguistic, social, and muscular development. Along with an academic base, the children are provided with the scope of enjoying circle time which is essential to strengthening social skills. Conduction of puppet drama, singing of rhymes, recitation of stories, etc promotes linguistic skills of the students. Furthermore, creativity and motor skills in students are enhanced by introducing activities such as cutting, pasting, coloring, free-hand drawing, etc. Children also embark on small nature journeys around the school, rail museum, zoo, the garden of five senses, etc, which contributes to their perception.
  • Primary classes – Grades 1 to 5 comprise the primary level at Gyan Bharati. The focus at this stage is to help students achieve holistic development. Along with the core subjects, multiple activities are conducted and ample space is given to young scholars to help them express themselves and gain confidence to help boost their academics. Employing the library as an effective means to improve reading and speaking skills proves to be an integral part of the curriculum.
  • Middle classes – Ranging from Grade 6 to 8, the curriculum in middle school is designed to follow the National Curriculum Framework document adopted by NCERT. The academic year is divided into two terms with one periodic test in each term, a terminal exam, and a number of activities for subject enrichment.
  • Senior classes – Grades 9 to 12 comprise the senior school. In Grade 9, the students are educated in core subjects along with a language o theirf choice. Infrastructure

Spread across 7 acres, this picturesque campus is composed of futuristic infrastructure and gives young scholars ample space and atmosphere to flourish. 

The school recognizes the need to practice modern technically equipped methodologies of teaching. Hence, along with well-ventilated and spacious classrooms, the infrastructure also includes smart classes equipped with computer-aided learning. The campus is wi-fi enabled and equipped with multiple labs, playrooms, activity rooms, well-stocked libraries, and two covered auditoriums. In an effort to encourage fitness and help lay a base for a lifetime of good health, facilities for Cricket, Basketball, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and other sports are provided by the school. They also ensure the security and safety of students by helping them transport through the provision of a bus facility. 

Extracurricular

Apart from encouraging the students to engage in multiple activities that help in making the curriculum relatable, the school also lays special emphasis on Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) activities. The students have to select one of the SUPW activities of their choice. A wide range of activities gets conducted in the Science club, DNA club, Consumer club, Hindi Journalism, English journalism, Embroidery, Painting, Clay Modelling, Instrumental music, Quiz club, Campus Management, Dramatics, Yoga, Calligraphy, Dance, etc. The well-equipped infrastructure also encourages the children to hone their set of skills in multiple sports activities. Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action (SEWA) also includes many clubs such as Designing thinking, Cyberbytes ( artificial intelligence, coding, video shooting/editing), MUN, Home Science, etc. 

Teaching staff

The teachers are equipped with the necessary set of skills needed to guide young scholars into becoming self-aware, confident individuals. The total number of teachers stands at 110 with a 1:1 Teacher-section ratio. Enough individual attention is provided to the students, thereby providing them enough space to express and flourish.
