Ivy League Academy – Producing minds without fear and hearts full of passion

We conducted a small poll recently. We asked a few parents what their priorities were when it came to education. A few said distance, a few said holistic development, others said morals. One thing that almost all the parents agreed on was happiness.

Maybe a couple of generations ago, parents were hell-bent on sending their children to schools that were known for their strictness and focus on academic excellence. Maybe there are still a few who think that school is the time for utter focus, rules, regulations, and academia. The norm has definitely shifted, though. Most of the best schools in India today are known for creating a healthy, happy environment for children and enabling them to learn holistically. Parents are also breathing in ease knowing that their kids are going to a place that is nurturing and caring while balancing learning and other aspects of growth.

Hyderabad is home to many such schools and Ivy League Academy is one of them. Established in the year 1988, the co-educational school provides a platform for children to understand, grow, and experience. Every aspect of the curriculum aims at helping kids realize their dream. We researched the school to understand what kind of a difference it makes in young lives. Here’s everything we learned about it.

40 acres of academics, sports, and living

Ivy League Academy is one of the largest schools in Hyderabad with a sprawling campus of 40 acres in Shamirpet. It is located close to the popular Leonia Resort, making it easy to reach despite the distance.

The school has lush greenery, natural rocks, boulders, internal roads, and pathways, making it a beautiful world of its own.

Following the national syllabus – CBSE

Ivy League Academy has classes from I to XII and is affiliated to the CBSE board. The first language is English while the second language can be Hindi, French, or Telugu based on the child’s preference.

Academics – How’s learning at Ivy League?

We know that the school follows the CBSE curriculum but is that it? We are sure not. Refreshingly, the school only uses CBSE as a base to provide activity-based, student-centric education.

Teachers use modern educational tools including technological applications to accentuate learning here. The environment that the management has set is friendly and stress-free with healthy competition so that no child succumbs to the well-known pressure of examinations. Special classes and help are always available when a child needs a little extra care to understand his/her lessons.

All in all, Ivy League Academy comes across as a very nurturing, conducive school that does its best to help its students realize their passion and nurture it.
