About the Founder

 Late Dr. Durga Prasad Pandey, who was an academician and educationist of international renown, decided to devote his efforts to the cause of child education and the service of divinity in man. He followed his inclination to modify the concept of child education and employ adequate measures to blend Indian values with academics to help raise a generation of self-sufficient young scholars capable of seeking growth in life.

Admission

For admission to pre-school, the parents need to fill out an online registration form generated by the school and wait for the result of the Draw of Lots. For any queries, you can reach them on:

For admission from pre-primary to Grade 11, the parents need to make sure that their children meet the eligibility criteria set by the school followed by filling out a form. The admission is subject to the vacancy of seats. 

Fee structure

The fee stands approximately at INR 4,200 per month ( excluding admission, travel, and boarding charges).  

Curriculum

 Manava Bharati is affiliated to the CBSE board and offers education up to Grade 12. With a combination of 16 varieties of subjects, 4 languages, and the support of 19 life-skills platforms, the curriculum is practical-based to make learning relatable and interesting. Teachers here strive to emphasize strategies that propel the growth of a child to prepare him for a lifetime of growth and opportunities. The structure from Pre-school to Grade 12 is bifurcated below:

  • Pre-School and Pre-Primary – The curriculum at this stage prove to be crucial as it plays a central role in leaving an impression on a child regarding academics and schooling. Manava Bharati employs lots of play, puppet shows, wonder time, hands-on experiences, etc to intermingle fun with learning. The subjects introduced at this stage include English, Hindi, mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Overall, coverage of Speaking, Reading, Writing, Art, General Knowledge, Math facts, and moral values dominate the curriculum.
  • Junior School – Ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 5, junior school is a stage that caters to curious minds by feeding them with interesting facts and making learning easy. The subjects taught include English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and Computer Science. School plays, one-to-one interactions, recitals, role plays, show-and-tell sessions, and external interactions contribute to enriching the quality of the curriculum.
  • Middle School – Grades 5 to 8 comprise the middle school. In an effort to strengthen the formal academic base of a child, core subjects are coupled with new subjects and languages at this point. Education in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Computer is offered at this stage. Middle school students enjoy Life skill programs, School plays, Elocution, etc which contribute to well-rounded academic development.
  • Senior School – Classes 9 to 12 comprise the senior school. Students learn higher degrees of the previously introduced subjects to help them prepare for their careers. Grade 11 gets bifurcated into 3 streams – Science, Commerce, and Arts.

Infrastructure

Spread across 8 acres, the lush green campus is well-equipped for the holistic development of young scholars. 34% of the school area is built-up providing ample space for the students to play and discover.Apart from infrastructural facilities such as an auditorium, classrooms, playground, labs, amphitheater, courtyard, courts, etc, the school tends to the needs of students who want to opt for a boarding facility. Their day boarding facility has been started while keeping in mind the needs of the children belonging to a nuclear family with working parents. The school provides a secure space to the children who need to stay longer at the school’s premises. 

Extracurricular

At Manava Bharati, importance is also given to the aspects that fall out of the category of academics. Constant exposure to different activities helps in raising a generation that is confident and self-aware. Keeping in mind the fact that a lot of education takes place outside classrooms, they expose the students to 19 sports, arts, and life skill programs and help them hone their skills in chosen areas.

The children are encouraged to become morally strong and grow up to be socially responsible citizens contributing to the growth of the country through the conduction of activities such as Making a difference – a donation drive conducted on Mother Teresa’s birth anniversary, Van Mahotsav day- activities meant to promote ideas of global sustainability, Nelson Mandela day – An effort to recognize and appreciate human rights, etc.
