Nasr School is one of the most sought-after schools in Hyderabad and is run by the NASR Education Society. It was founded by Begum Anees Khan for her daughter, Aliya in the year 1965, in partnership with Mrs. Raees Hassan and Begum Najamuddin Khan.

The title of the institution was coined after a renowned saint, Hazrat Abu Nasr. This saint hailing from the Deccan was the religious mentor to Begum Anees Khan’s father.

Nasr Boys School was started in the year 1998. It’s an English medium, day school for boys with classes from Nursery to Class X.

The Word NASR, in the Arabic language, means HELP. Embossing the significance of its title; the organization also runs a school for underprivileged girls.

  • Clubs and Societies – Students are encouraged to form clubs and societies like Nature Club, Nasr Riding Club, Nasr Dramatic Society, Space Club, and Nasr Literary Club. These clubs help the students to work together on a common platform towards assigned projects and for social purposes.
  • Indo-Japan Student Exchange Programme – The school encourages learning and development of the students with respect to varied cultures. The school conducted a student exchange programme with children from Miyoshi, a city in Japan. The interaction helped to broaden the intellectual horizons of the students.
  • S.U.P.W (Socially Useful Productive Work) – The children are motivated to raise funds and help the underprivileged sections of the society. Boys also participate in gardening and conservation of nature.
