Curriculum

New Horizon Public School is affiliated to the ICSE board. The school system combines the advantages of the Montessori learning style and experiential learning. It enables children to learn at their own pace, thus helping the child adjust to the idea of school. The curriculum has been divided into 3 categories -

• Pre-Primary division

The Pre-primary division of New Horizon Public School comprises the Nursery, LKG and UKG. The curriculum involves learning through observation, experiential learning through first-hand experience, thus developing sensory perceptions to trigger both the creative and intellectual faculties of the child. Subjects include languages like English,Hindi or Kannada. Concepts of basic literacy and basic numeracy along with EVS and mathematics are developed in interactive ways.  

• Primary Division

Classes I, II, III, IV and V come under the primary division. Here the children are involved in various activities which include discussions in pairs and group discussions. These are  conducted to help them develop their language skills and interpersonal skills effortlessly. Subjects include languages like English, Hindi and Kannada along with Mathematics, Computer Science, Social Studies, General Studies and EVS. • Secondary Division

Eligibility

• Play School: Applicants must have completed 2 years of age as on 1st June 2026.
• Nursery: Applicants must have completed 3 years of age as on 1st June 2026.
• LKG: Applicants must have completed 4 years of age as on 1st June 2026.
• UKG and above: Admission will be subject to vacancy. Updates will be provided in January 2026.

Interaction/Assessment

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interaction or assessment, depending on the grade applied for.

Confirmation of Admission

Admission will be confirmed upon completion of all formalities, including submission of required documents and payment of fees.
