Ashamed to be an alumni of this godforsaken place. Teachers unnecessarily pressurized students. Neither did the school properly prepare the students for competitive/board exams nor did they allow the students to prepare on their own. Teachers took pride in setting unnecessarily hard question papers without preparing the students properly. Hitting students was quite common. Have also heard rumours of administration asking money from parents in order to promote their children. Although the school claimed to be English medium but the language standard of most faculty would put Laluprasad Yadav tk shame. Teachers/staff were extremely unapproachable, condescending to the extent of being offensive to not only the students but also the parents. Alums who have succeeded have done so despite of the school and not because of it.... Wasted the decade of my life where I was unfortunate enough to be a part of this hell hole Went through the Wikipedia page - not surprising to see anyone having made any dent in the field of academics/business. Read a review - where someone has said that met a few alums of the school and they were not upto the mark. Seeing the alums that have given rave reviews , couldn't agree more.

This school has lost its values and ethics it used to stand for. Under the new principal's direction the school's curriculum is deteriorating - NO PLACE FOR HINDUISM (HINDU) , a PRO GANDHIAN follower with no backbone and a BIG HYPOCRITE. No place for new young brilliant teacher. Same old teachers who busy doing politics and torture on children, except a few who are protected themselves from evil . Full of money gulping fellows. Fake people , fake friends, fake teachers, fake people. THE WHOLE SCHOOL IS FULL OF MORRONS.

Located at James Long Sarani, Muradpur, Behala, Kolkata, West Bengal 700034, M P Birla Foundation Higher Secondary school was affiliated to the CBSE.The first Class X batch appeared for the CBSE Examination in March 1993 in which all 65 students secured first division marks.Later, the school switched over to ICSE in the year 1995. In 1996, the school was upgraded to the plus 2 category, catering to both Science and Commerce streams. The present strength of the school stands at 3200. The primary aim of the school is to impart and lay emphasis on sound moral education, values, principles, skills and knowledge and thereby encourage students to strive for excellence in all fields of endeavour. In keeping pace with the modern technology, the school has introduced Smart Class and Mindspark classes to enhance the learning skills of students. In the field of extra- curricular activities, the students of this 31 year old institution have brought several laurels to the school.
