Felt nice to land on this site. It is truly nostalgic because I was also a student of this school from 1968-75 from 4th to 10th. Fourth standard was at BSVP branch on 1st main road and from 5th to 10th I studied at 5th main road branch. Prof.Nanjangud was the high school head master and Prof.D.H.Prema was the middle school head mistress. The school was headed by Prof.Nagesh Hatwar and his wife Prof.Puttamma. My pranamas to both of you Sir and Madam. Prof.'s house was very near to mine at chamrajpet. If I remember correctly, Prof. had one son and three daughters. Prof.'s son was few years senior to us and, as children, we look up to him as our role model. If any of you see this message, my pranamas to all of you. I am sure one or more of you are associated with the school, now, also. Message and let us know what we can do. At least, I deem it a duty to give back something to the school I have studied. Additionally, I remember the following teachers (not in order): 1. Dherendra Gopal Sir (Sanskrit) 2.Gopal Sir (A Gandhian at heart and his attire teaching Kannada & Hindi) 3.Vijaya Madam (A young and enthusiastic teacher of those years teaching us, I think, Science) 4. Murthy Sir (Physics) 5.Suhasini Madam [A good but short tempered (sorry madam) teacher of social studies] 6.Pushpa Madam [A tall teacher (I don't remember which subject she taught us). But what I remember is that she took a male role in a drama played by teachers on one of the school days] 7.Indiramma Madam (A very senior teacher of those years teaching us Social Studies) 8.Furtado madam[I think she taught us Biology. Very strict (Sorry madam) but good teacher. I remember her nephew (Kenneth) was one yr. senior to us in the same school] 9.Iqbal Unnissa Madam [Sorry Madam if the spelling of your name is wrongly written by me. I am sure that being your student you will excuse me] 10. Thimmayya Sir [Not to forget our PT teacher whose class used to be most enjoyable, although I wasn't too good in any sports). My GURU VANDANA to all my teachers. I will update again if I have forgotten any other teachers who have taught me at BSVP. I will be extremely happy if any teachers see this message and comment by a return message. Similarly, if BSVP authorities see this message, again all Alumni would be extremely happy to have a reunion at BSVP (school should be ready to receive us many of us with grey hair and beard who were once toddlers of your school). Closing this with lots of anticipation of reunion. I am sure many of us can support BSVP in our own way. I am sure my student colleagues agree that it is all our responsibility to give back something of what we can, to our OWN SCHOOL.
