The BM Group of schools was established by two visionaries Mr. K S Parameswaran and Mr. K V Krishnan. Both had their roots in Palghat District of Kerala and moved from Chennai to establish schools in Bangalore. Mr Parameswaran and Mrs Parameswaran went on with the establishment of Bangalore Montessori School at Ulsoor to start with and many other branches later on.Mr. Krishnan and Mrs. Seetha (fondly called as Chikka Miss by her staff and children) established the School at K Kamaraj Road in 1958 and later the present school at St. Johns road. After the untimely demise of Sri Krishnan, Mr. K S V Subramanyam joined the school in 1964. Under the governance of Mrs. Seetha and Mr. Subramanyam, the school rose to great heights. Mr Subramanyam completed 50 years of his teaching career and presently he is the Chairman of the group of Schools run by the society. Mr. Subramanyam was joined by his son Dr. Rajesh. The commitment to excellence and innovation has been maintained throughout. The BM group currently has a State Board School, and ICSE School. The State Board School is situated in the Central Business District. (St. Johns Road, Shivajinagar area) The ICSE division was established in 2004 in a sprawling 2.5-acre campus on the International Airport Link Road (Hennur Bagalur Road). Both the schools have a firm commitment to child friendly approach.

A great school with excellent and experienced teaching staff my kids are very happy and each day they are excited to go to school thank you teachers very much for your care and support for my kids.

There are so much to say., This school was like a family school for our family. We stayed near by, my dad , my sister and my self were educated from the same school. Emotional part is missing the old ambience. I would like to recommend this school only for the important given even extra curricular activities. I wasn’t good at academics but what I am today is because of the motivation the teachers gave me at time of my parent teacher meeting, they would respect each parents and would give best feedback to over come issue which is lacking in most school so far. That a blame game teacher would take responsibilities to be the best. I did successfully. Thanks for such a great life experience BMS. Why 4 stars is the building funds we were forced to sell tickets for school.

Me and my sister did my entire schooling at BMS, year 1988 to 2000 . By far we both had very best experience during our school life. The teachers are very well experienced. This school offers many innovative ways of teaching e.g. back in 1997 we used to have printed notes which let the students cut down on writing time and had more study time, meanwhile we were given more class tests and model to gain writing skills. We also had classes like personality development and counselling sessions to prepare our future focus. Our batch students and all the students I know during that days are all very successful professionals today.

This school gave me the best during my formative years, it's the foundation that this school laid to several middle class families back then that took us places and am very proud to be a part of this school. Their efficient curriculum moulds one is every filed that is required for ones overall development. There's nothing that this school didn't offer me.. I am so grateful and thankful to the founders and all the ppl who made this school a temple of learning. Long live BMS.. ❤️❤️❤️
