Harrow International School's admissions process is known for its thoroughness, ensuring that places are awarded to students who are well-prepared to benefit from the school's high-achieving academic and holistic program.
Stage 1: Prospective students or their representatives typically contact the Admissions Office, where the admissions team is available to address initial inquiries. They also arrange an opportunity for attendees to participate in an introductory information session with the Founding Head Master, Mr. Andrew Leale.
Stage 2: Parents or guardians are required to register their child by completing an online registration form. This form allows them to specify whether their child will be a full boarder, a weekly boarder, or a day student. Additionally, applicants are asked to upload their child's passport ID page and copies of the two most recent school reports. Registration is considered complete upon payment of the non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs 12,000.
Stage 3: Selected candidates will receive invitations to attend an assessment session known as the Harrow Test. Whenever possible, this assessment is conducted in person, but arrangements can be made for online testing as needed. The Harrow Test includes a 20-minute interview, a computerized English and Maths assessment (lasting one hour in total), and a classroom-based group activity (lasting 20 minutes).
Stage 4: Following the completion of the Harrow Test, applicants will receive one of the following results:
Families who receive an offer are required to confirm their acceptance within two weeks by paying the specified deposit outlined in the invoice. Offers are contingent upon receiving a satisfactory reference from the applicant's current school, which will be requested once a place is accepted.
