About Alpha International School

Alpha International School (AIS) is a part of Alpha Group of Institutions, managed by the 50 year old Alpha Educational Society.

It was established in the year 2015 and is designed to evolve into an infrastructure with resources and amenities commensurate with global standards. The pedagogy at Alpha International School is designed to support a developmental, student-centric approach, where teaching is coupled with a stimulating and varied curriculum. The school endeavors to ensure deliverables in accordance to the students’ needs as the school progresses to higher levels. Our goal is to instill an enthusiasm for lifelong learning and a sense of global awareness in each student, along with the necessary skills to prepare them for the challenges and changes, which lie ahead.

At Alpha International School, every student is believed to be a unique individual with the potential to make a positive contribution to the school and society. Located on the Velachery-Tambaram main road, Sembakkam, the school is spread over one acre with a built-up area of 22400 sq. ft. Well-lit corridors display the art work of students in wall panels and bring life and color to the school. The campus has well facilitated, well ventilated classrooms. It also has well equipped laboratories, a library, studios for art, dance, music and theatre which not only serve the needs of all the students but also motivates skill building. The multipurpose court along with the main playground facilitates games and physical activities of the students thus making the learning holistic.

The worst school in this area. From the entrance of security guard there is no manner to treat people. The next management team annoying parents on their way they are speaking. The principles following her own way of rules. 1. They are pre defined rules for government. 2.Not followed any rules and regulations 3.The school front area not maintained highenicqlly. 4.The same for any govt exams like TNPSC centers they are alloted means their behavior is worst

Viji front office very rude behavior actually a front office is the mirror for many organizations what ever the sector education or any.. her attitude and body language to the parents is really annoying specifically where we cannot get appointment to meet the principal of this institution,suppose to be all schools where principals are friendly natured here it us like meeting a CM.. even we can meet him if we plead.. but here that too NO. It is here all front office control. Very disappointing

Studied from 2006 - 2016. In the early days, the school was small in both size and strength but being in school was great, the staffs, small playground, old office building and especially the fish tank in the entrance of the building where most of them will come and spend their time after the school is over. I even studied in a small building that was separate from the school building. Had a great time with the school till 9 std then the 10, 11 and 12 had a great time only because of my friends. When I was studying in 2016(12th) the old staff who taught me were almost gone from this school. This school doesn't pressure students to yield good academic results (don't know about now). In money wise school doesn't spend anything for students for eg: the school had once taken us to an exhibition, in the end, the school asked us to pay for the transportation. In terms of what we pay as huge fees compared to other schools in the area, I think they can do better in these things. I even heard the pay for the teachers is also not so good.

Alpha International School Admission Procedure

A student must have completed 2.5 years of age for Nursery, 5.5 years of age for Admission to Grade I by 31st May and satisfy the relevant age criteria for admission to successive higher classes.
Application form can be collected from the admissions officer at the school office or can be downloaded from the school website. However, the submission of the same has to be done personally along with the required documents specified in the application form.
The application form has to be submitted within a week’s time else a new application form has to be bought again. A week after submitting the application form, the date of interview/entrance test will be scheduled and informed to the parents over the phone.
Students seeking admission for classes from Grade II upwards are required to appear for a written test and the interview after the test.
In case students are living abroad or outside Chennai and are unable to attend the interview/ entrance test on the date scheduled, parents may request for time and ensure that they attend on the rescheduled date without fail.
Students coming from schools following CBSE / ICSE / State Board or any other international curriculum may be admitted on the strength of their transfer certificate countersigned by the authorities of the educational board concerned. A satisfactory report of the performance in the previous school, along with their performance in the entrance test is essential for admission.
Parents will be informed about the selection / confirmation of seat on the day of the interview or within five working days and will be given a week’s time to pay the fee and confirm admission. If the admission is not confirmed by the parent within the stipulated time, the seat will be forfeited.
The student has to complete all three admission formalities - 1. submission of all documents 2. Selection in the interview and 3. Payment of fees before the admission is confirmed.
Admission is subject to availability of seats in the particular class, and is at the school’s discretion.
