This motto is our coat of arms, our aim.
This motto is our coat of arms, our aim. Under its standard we strive to do our best in all fields of life.
Sacred Heart Girls' High School is run by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, the congregation founded by St Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, who was gifted with a deep love for humanity and reverenced each person for her/his uniqueness.
Five sisters, fired with love and compassion of the Heart of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, came from France to Bangalore in 1854 and within a few months of their arrival began various works of the Good Shepherd. Among these was the opening of a Boarding and Day School for Europeans and Anglo Indians known as Sacred Heart High School.
The Sisters of the Good Shepherd Convent and the staff of Sacred Heart Girls' High School continue to strive to foster a total and integrated development of each student in her uniqueness, thereby forming strong characters of high principles grounded in truth.
Education, according to St. Mary Euphrasia should develop to the fullest, all that is best in the human personality, physically, psychologically, socially, aesthetically and spiritually.
Developing the spirit of learning and sharing with the less fortunate, promoting faith formation through value – oriented education, enabling every person to become an agent for the promotion of justice, of peace and love, and creating a conscious awareness of a duty to preserve our planet makes our school a life enhancing resource centre. The school continues to prepare and send students for the ICSE Examination with brilliant academic results, every year.
So, we march along, and with our Loving Shepherd beside us we shall have no fear.

The quality of school teaching and management has dropped during covid times, past 2 years. Till primary school is ok but middle school onwards children don't learn anything great here. It is equal to any other pvt schools politics happening within. Parent opinions: 1.Very lathergic communication or zero communication when major changes involved about our children like language options. 2. Icse council circular or government circular regarding matters concerned to us, are shared with parents as per management will and wish. What they choose to implement they do, else they dont give importance to everything. 3. Teaching staff and children attending offline classes are pressurized by management. As a convent, right path should be shown but unfortunately they are being used for personal intentions. 4. Teaching staff use calculator or they are not solve sums incorrectly. Mistakes cannot happen repeatedly. When mistakes are highlighted management says online offline two modes of teaching isnnot possible by their teachers. They lack capability in fact! .
