Its a wonderful school and I enjoyed every bit of my stay there. I could feel the spiritual vibration from Didi and bhaiyya, the commitment from teachers and admin staff. A lovely school to work in and I got lots of support from my principal and colleagues , both from teachers and administration colleagues. Even now they give you a warm welcome when you visit the school

Chinmaya International Residential School is a private school located near Coimbatore in Siruvani, India, in the foothills of the Western Ghats, and encompasses a 78-acre campus. It offers CBSE from grades 5 to 12 and IB for grades 11 to 12. The school is currently run by Mrs. Rajeshwari. I recently visited this place to attend a function. The best thing I loved about the school is the view. It also has all amenities like swimming pool , basketball court etc.

My Son studied at this institute 5 years back, we owe his success purely to CIRS model of education. While there is a process for admissions a 2 step approach: Academic and personal interview. What students gain there is remarkable. They have a process to explore true potential of kids, exposing them to multiple options, which otherwise in a home environment it is logically not possible. They induce the ability of multi tasking in kids which is surprising, they participate in multiple activities without losing focus on academics. To sum it up, @ home there are too many distractions beyond academics, the same time they are exposed to activities they like and perform. They infuse the culture of responsibility, ownership and most important stay grounded, respect for elders, peers, Guru .. a big noticeable change. The amount of Sports, Theatre work and what not, it is like full freedom to do whatever is in their spectrum and excel. But best take away for us was that they developed a culture of helping each other as against competing. The brightest student is tasked to share his knowledge with is fellow mates, the weaker student gets extra attention from Guru, who keep an eye on which student is lagging and ensure he gets that delta to bring him up to speed with rest of the class. This is completely opposite to the outside world where the bright kids is pampered to a level he starts feeling he is ... These attributes helped my kid to excel in his graduation abroad. They make them humble and the ability to listen to the environment around them

After being heard as no 1 boarding school in coimbatore. i tried for my son continuously two years but i couldn't get through.During first year i thought my son couldn't meet their standards and was very disappointed because more than us, my son liked the school very much and was expecting a lot.Then we consoled him and told we will try next year so for that he worked so hard the following year to get good marks and somehow get into CIRS . Then during second year he did very well in written examination and also did good in interface.He was very confident that he will get it but this time also he didn't get it. then we consoled him so much but he got very upset and it really took more than 1 month to make him understand. being a parent we can understand but children can't. Then we got to know that school is not seeing the student ability, creativity or enthusiasm rather than they are giving preference to the past academic marks, background of student and parents which should not be a criteria for the selection because marks doesn't predict the future of the child especially children during the 7th, 8th and 9th grade they should focus on improving intellectual and creativity of the students. So it is a kind request to the school not to give such specific preferences rather focus on other abilities of student.

They admit only students who get more Mark's but the real fact is that the school should admit and develop a student who is poor in his condition and bring their efficiency and skills out to the society and this shows the real talent and capabilities of that school but CIRS doesn't do that, they admit only students who score more Mark's.They doesn't like students who score less marks
