The future of a nation depends on its citizens. Education plays a vital role in shaping a child’s career and personality. St. Margaret was founded in 1988 and holds a reputation of its own. Over the years the school has grown in strength, from a seedling to a splendid matured tree, recognised and affiliated to C.B.S.E. with approximately 1800 students on rolls today to boast of. St. Margaret not only provides education but also builds character in students. Thus preparing them to face the real world and any situation in life once they are on their own. It aims at service to the community rather than making it a commercial venture. So, we at St. Margaret are making all our efforts to instill social, political and moral values in students which is a forgotten and neglected aspect by the modern, materialistic world today. Students are trained in tune with the principle of ‘Simple living and High thinking’.

By 2022 the school will become 100% clean and green school by adopting No litter campaign, an initiative to sensitize students, parents, community members and vehicle owners to keep the school, its surroundings and roads litter free, by planting trees in and around the school campus and by adopting conservation of electricity, rain water harvesting and recycling of waste paper to reduce the burden on nature.

Following its powerful vision ‘Spread the Light’, the school focuses on illuminating the capabilities of the students for the betterment of our world. The margaretarians are groomed in all ways of utter perfection which help them to serve society in selfless manner. Apart from throwing light on the academic performance, the students are guided to understand the true meaning of education. For this, they are taught by the method of ‘Learning by Doing’. We feel proud to make you all acquainted with a set of three powerful drives initiated by the school to bring a favourable change in the world. Our drives convey the messages of keeping our environment safe and green by making sure that our surroundings are unreservedly clean. Not only this, promoting plants as the ideal gifts too fall under the category of illuminating the minds and hearts of people to sensitise them towards the importance of trees. ‘Disconnect to Connect’ is the other captivating drive which has guided millions of people about the harmful effects of cell phones.
