Both of them were Christian Missionaries who dedicated their lives to establishing churches and schools in West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.The school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and offers classes from Pre-School to Class 12. Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School is the best school located in Barrackpore,kolkata. The school has an excellent curriculum, taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers. Douglas Memorial Higher secondary school is the best boarding school in Kolkata.Provides excellent education and extra curricular activities.Experienced teachers and regular PTM meetings provides good parent teacher and student interaction.

The entrance of the school says half of the story. Along with the management body, the teachers take individual care of each and every kid. but there is too much pressure on kids

Located next to cantonment board office in Barrackpore. On the lap of nature on barrack road, DMHSS is perfect abode for your child to spend his/her school life. The entrance of the school says half of the story. The in campus space is decorated with beautiful trees and and beautiful props that enhances the holistic development of a child. Coming to the faculty.... The teachers are well trained with prolong experience in the teaching field. Along with the management body, the teachers take individual care of each and every kid. They believe in not only excellence in academics but also making a child an all-rounder by nurturing his other skills as well. This institution also offers hostel facility for students coming from long distances.

1.ADMISSION ENQUIRY
The child needs to be registered by filling the admission form. The admission form can be collected online or from the office .Please note that getting the child registered in Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School is not a guarantee of admission. The admission is granted based on the performance of the child in the written test / interview.
2.COUNSELLING:
Parents are encouraged to come down to the school, discuss and understand the school system after talking to the Principal / Counsellors, and then take the crucial decision of applying for admission in DMHSS.
3.Entrance Test/Interview
An entrance test is conducted for students applying for class I and above. The syllabus for the entrance test will be provided after collecting the admission form. The purpose is to evaluate whether the child matches up to the standard of the class applied for. For lower classes, an interview with the parents is conducted along with a brief interaction with the child.
4.Selections
Selected candidates should pay the fees as per the schedule provided and fill up the admission form that costs Rs.1000 only. Payment can be made through Cash/ Debit card/ Credit card/ Online Transfer/UPI / Net banking.

- Two recent passport-size photographs should be attached to the registration form.
- Transfer Certificate from the previous school (If attended and only for Class I and above)
- Progress report of the last examination from the previous school (If attended and only for Class I and above)
- Aadhar Card photocopy of the child to be submitted.
- An agreement between the school and the parents should be signed to ensure compliance with the school rules.
