It is a worst school I hv ever seen in my life, teaching faculty is fully money minded, they don't know how to train students, the school building and inner atmosphere is rich bcoz of rich background of their students, school only focus on parents monthly income of students,

One of the best CBSE SCHOOLS in Kolkata. If you want your child to develop holistically, this is your destination school.

I have been a student of this school since 2012. This school is the worst school in the world. You cannot expect anything better from this school. You could have expected more if Sir Joseph Matthew was the Director of the School at present but unfortunately Amita Prasad became the new director and under her administration, the school has lost all its beauty. There was a naughty castle which is now removed. Talent is not recognised in this school. There have been many competitions in the school for which we were told to buy things, etc. and the money would be refunded but the money was not refunded. There have been several cases of bone breaking in the past few years. This is my last year in the school and I am glad that I am leaving this bad school and joining South Point. They say that they have got the best students in boards and I also agree that the teachers here are very friendly and good but again, the school has a director and principal. If you don't complete your work on time(they don't consider medical reasons), teachers say to you like a threat that parent call will happen and you will be rusticated. They had many police cases too over the past few years. I request, if you don't want to spoil your children and don't want him/her to suicide due to the pressure put on him/her, please don't admit your child to the school. I hope that this school closes soon as they destroy the future of children. (((Please also note the toilets are bad, the canteen is unhygienic. This school is not a school, instead it is a piece of trash. I even now think about the incident when I bought momos in the canteen(price is very high and is rising everyday by Rs.5), I got food poisoning. The old canteen can be a good place but the new building canteen is the most baddest canteen. We being seniors, never buy anything from the new building canteen.)))

Absolutely WORST. Don't admit your ward expecting that he or she will learn good values or will become very excellent in academics. This school is completely all about money and politics. The school only knows how to take money from the students and nothing else. The school was better when Joseph Mathew was the director, but as I mentioned, the politics existing in this school has thrown him out of the school and the present director only knows money now and just how to promote the school.

I was a student here and I got nothing to hide. I enjoyed myself here and actually learnt the things needed in life while Joseph Matthew was our Director, it all went downhill from there. The trauma this school put us through is no joke, if I could turn back time then I'd stop myself from entering the school grounds AT ALL COSTS. The building just looks pretty and that's it, if you as a parent think that your child is gonna learn values and gain knowledge here, you're mistaken. If your child is meant to do well in life, they'll do it from any school in Kolkata but if you put them in here, there's no saving your kid anymore. Even all the good teachers have left this school, my juniors who are still in school ask me for old notes because the current faculty can't be bothered about the student's future at all and just throw the whole syllabus at them to be covered back home. Why would students even go to school at this point if everything needs to be completed back home as a 'homework'? This school might win awards for its infrastructure and sometimes for sport events but that's it though. There's not much more to it. Just don't, its seriously not worth it.

Very very well organised school for overall grooming of children , girls/boys . The school is not only good in academic field but also help the students to build a strong foundation with practical purpose to do well in life. Some of the parents are in opinion “ IVWS should reduce the extra curricular activities by 10-15 percent and the same time should be utilised in academic side”.

Indus Valley World School is a well decorated school , with a good bus service. The canteen facility is like a modern school and the quality of food is also ok as I heard from the students. But people who say it's the best CBSE school is south Calcutta, are not correct. No doubt This school has a very good moto , to make. good human which everyone must be. But few good subjects are missing from this school in the senior secondary section. Which schools such as BDM International is having like Mass Media Studies and more that are very important in this century.

This was the place my daughter enjoyed her school life the most. Exorbitant fees were charged and air conditioners in small schoolbuses were not turned on even after the students felt suffocated in March because by rule, they are supposed to be switched on from April onwards. Lot of repeatedly misbehaved students were kept and not rusticated as she was in the second batch to appear for CBSE and unruly elements were not thrown out and quality of candidates were compromised. Ample co-curricular activities under CCE were compulsory and well-maintained infrastructure was availed by the students.
