Co-Education
Only an education that nourishes inherent virtues can impart true intelligence.
Only an education that nourishes inherent virtues can impart true intelligence. Today, it is the concern of all parents that their children should grow up to be happy, well-educated human beings with core values. Somewhere along the line, however, the link to true happiness appears to be getting severed; we are losing the goal of happiness. How that goal can be regained is revealed in His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankar’s words: “Basic human values need to be encouraged in the classroom. A child is born with these values and a teacher needs to uncover them. What are these human values? Compassion, co-operation, friendliness, smiles, laughter, lightness, wanting to help, a sense of belonging and caring for each other. The need of the day is a broad-minded education accompanied by a warm heart. ”A well-educated person is thus one who is friendly, compassionate, and able to be a ‘nobody’ with everybody. The creative methods of teaching as envisioned by our Founder will help children to more fully develop their personalities.
Everybody who has a stake in education must ponder the need for a holistic, healthy educational system that will enhance the values and virtues with which each of us is naturally endowed. Put simply, education must address all aspects of human life.
Since a healthy body best supports a sound mind and spirit, creative sports and such ancient practises as meditation, yoga and pranayam should be part of a child’s learning process. The key is to harness the ancient values and be innovative with the modern. This is what we at Sri Sri Academy commit towards achieving for our students.

Studied here for 4 years and believe me it was the best 4 years of my life ! Of course it took a little bit time to get accustomed but once you create an image here, you will be loved by your friends, teachers and everyone..From meeting inspiring people to making crazy friends, It was really a great journey. If you are in your 10th and planning to change school, My personal suggestion is don't change..This is honestly a beautiful school you will come across and will always be a proud SRIAN (students of SSA). Despite being in a different school, i really miss my days at SSA and just love this place..Feels more like a home rather than a school. Just an amazing place full of fantastic memories !

The school have increased the fees by 100% in this tuff situation, very much disappointed as it call itself a trust but actually it's a pure profit making organization using guruji's name & fame.

Great infrastructure. Poor teaching quality. Unlimited tests even though not a single teacher can cover the whole course. Oh and once you provide this school, your details, you'll be bombarded by SriSri group's advertising policy every so often. Not meant for medium to low income families, if they want to provide good values to their children, as there's a class divide at work here. In short: Not Recommended.

Nothing anonymous

One of the worst and most overrated schools in Kolkata. The amount of money they spend on infrastructure, they could use it to hire better teachers. By far, the worst management I have ever seen in any school. They don't tell you exam dates till about a week or 2 weeks before the exams start. They don't even properly tell you the syllabus till the last moment. No cooperation from the school to help students in any way. The reason I am using an anonymous account to write this review is because I would be penalised if they knew that I had written the review. They are so desperate to maintain their so called "reputation" of being a good school. If there is ever something wrong happening in the school and you report it, hardly any action is ever taken. Nothing is done about it. If you have concerns regarding a teacher and you talk to a person of higher authority about it, they would give you fake assurance that the matter will be dealt with and then tell the teachers the names of the students who had spoken up or simply talked about it and then those students are shouted at and humiliated in the class. In case you're wondering, yes I am speaking from personal experience. There are teachers who would even lie and blame the students when there was no fault of theirs. This school is basically just a rip off, its merely a show of superficial excellence. Very few teachers in the school can actually teach well or even properly.
