This username is an Alias as to not get in trouble if this review is read by any of the staff. I am a student of KV IIT Powai And Have spent more then 8 years here, This school is said to be the best School/Public School in Mumbai, This is a huge lie. There have been many situations in this school that have been covered up, hidden and altered, One of these being a situation where 3 children in the 8th grade were caught smoking in a corner of the building where there is usually trash and old furniture they were seen by one of the students also in the 8th grade and a teacher was told about this, The teacher instantly took the students in question and consulted them. I personally do not know what happened when she consulted them but the 3 students were found guilty and apparently said they got the cigarettes from someone in one of the other sections. This entire story was covered up and never brought up again by anyone after the 3 students were suspended, and I'm not kidding For just 1 WEEK. This type of behavior usually lands a child into Juvenile Prison but they were suspended for Just 1 week. I have many more other stories like this but I wont be sharing them in this review.

I am a parent, who made my daughter join the school in 1st grade in the year 2022... I really dont understand , how everybody is giving good reviews about the school ..... Its a really pathetic school ..... ITS ABSOLUTELY ZERO in every aspect, its simply like any other govt run office , the parents opinion are given zero value .... no educated teachers , no activities , no sports , no annual day function , no proper studies , no discipline in school , no clean and hygenic classrooms and washrooms .... its been 2nd year my daughter is studying here and truly speaking my child d havent gained anything .... wud anybody believe english classes are explained in hindi !!! all classes are taken in hindi lectures the teachers recruited hardly know how to frame a good sentence in english .... .... only because of admission issues in other school , i have kept my child continue here , once i get ill move my child from here ...this is 100% HONEST REVIEW .... So i request all parents who are looking for their childs future pls , if u can afford , seek admission in better school , where u can see ur child proceed in life..l .... im , if u want your child to gain something in life ....

From helping staff to PGTs and even Principal.. everyone is so so responsible and very well-behaved. Even if you're an outsider, they'll try their best to help you. Very inspiring!✨✨ Such kind of atmosphere is hard to observe nowadays.

I studied here for 11 years so I can assure you my review is completely organic, realistic and believable. VERY BAD experience for 11th and 12th doesn't stand upto the name and expectations of "no.1 govt school" at all. don't send your kids here, they'll emerge as talentless insignificant little human beings with no exceptional qualities. terrible management. teachers' quality can be significantly improved as there is absolutely no creativity. unhygienic and half broken down buildings. uniforms are hideous. the only good aspect of this school is the PT teacher.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (lit. 'Chain of Central Schools') is a system of central government schools in India that are instituted under the aegis of the Ministry of Education (MHRD), Government of India. As of December 2020, it has a total of 1,245 schools in India, and three abroad. It is one of the world's largest chains of schools. The motto of Kendriya Vidyalayas is Tattvaṁ pūṣaṇa apāvr̥ṇu, lit. 'O Sun , please uncover that'; in other words, "where the face of truth is covered by the golden lid, O Sun (God), please uncover so that truth and dharma are visible". The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan oversees the functioning of the schools with its headquarters in New Delhi. The administration of this body is based on levels. The chairman of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is always the Minister in Charge of Human Resource Development of the Government of India; the deputy chairman is Minister of State of MHRD. The real working power lies with the Commissioner of KVS; there are additional commissioners to accompany the Commissioner in the administration of KVS in different fields. The head of a KVS region is Deputy Commissioner accompanied by an Assistant Commissioner. There are individual principals of every KV administrating the schools along with a Vice-Principal, Head Master/ Mistress. The Vidyalaya also has several committees for the holistic development of the students and well maintenance of the school compound and system. The most important one is the VMC (Vidyalaya Management Committee), which is the head of all committees.

I studied in this school for 5 years. From first to fifth grade. Had a great and memorable experience throughout those years. Great teachers and infrastructure. Not only academics but this school lays equal importance to sports activities as well Believe me, this school is perfect for the overall development of child. 5 stars are still less to rate such schools.

My alma mater, its a great place to get some good education. Its decent, with decent facilities. My experience has been okayish, but this is definitely one of the good ones. Among one of the best govt schools. Dont expect much and you'll fare great.

I have studied in this school from Class 3rd to Class 7th. This is one of the best school in India. When i am studying in this school that time Mr N.D Joshi was the Principal. Education system is best in this school.
