I used to go here as a kid, 2009-2014. Honestly, 2009-2014 were the best years of my life, and the best times in general. My time at this school was so nostalgic.
Sishya is a very well funded school; they've got a nice canteen (how's Rajesh doing btw?), a sizeable amount of classrooms and good grounds, and many events.
School camp 2013 is one of those things I'll never forget; watching Despicable Me 2 and Chennai Express on a big screen when they first came out.
They used to have a book fair, a fete, an annual dance that the kids used to prepare for (we used to love skipping classes for that) and some nice theatre productions. Eh, maybe I'm just taking away the kiddy stuff from there because I was a kid when I used to go there.
Anyway, so the teachers were strict (watch out!). If you misbehave, they send you out of class. Sometimes they yell at you. And I don't know if that was the norm in India. I'm pretty sure it was; may still be.
A lot of the people that used to go and still go to this school are filthy rich (we had occasional visits from Thalapathi and other famous people like Prakash Raj and all that). People used to queue up for autographs and stuff.
Anyway, enough of my rant. Sishya was my childhood.

My daughter studied Class XI and XII in the Humanities stream. The best life-changing experience. Thanks to the High Quality Management and Staff. Students are treated with respect. The teaching methods are wholesome kindling their intellectual curiosity and love for life-long learning. The heritage feel of the school I felt as a parents is memorable. Well-defined academic calendar and planned events. Every event was relevant and was highly inspiring and elevating. Everything was planned and nothing ad hoc. Staff and students left school by 3pm. No unnecessary staying back. Only open house on just two Saturdays in the whole year. Neat 5 days working. A small canteen. Good playground. Reasonable fees. Contrary to the popular assumption, the school caters to middle class as well. There is both diversity and inclusion in the classrooms. Parents are well-informed and no scope for panic. Thank you Sishya

When the parent of the girl went to meet the school principal she was waited with her parent for more than 2 hours and respected principal madam didn't even wished to talk to neither her nor her parents... Such kind of things made that student to feel so bad and at the end of her schooling she just feel very awkward with the way of techers and principal interaction with parents... Even parents didn't bothered or given respect, then how will students earn respect here?...
Seriously that parent felt so bad that the way she failed to respect them and the way she treated them is so cruel ... Then what's the use of making their kids to study here... If any staff from current holy angels see's this, please read and speak your mind.
The curriculum is not as it used be. The students are not able to speak fluent English. I admitted my child so they can learn the language along side their native tongue but she is studying in 8 grade and is still unable to even speak proper English.
If this were the case, I'd have admitted her into any CBSE school or other lesser alternative. Their tutoring method is not effective. Despite the amazing infrastructure and beautiful space for playground, their method of approaching students and subject is not even half as good.
• The reason I'm saying this is because I'm an alumni and it really disappoints me that school has fallen from grace. It is does not have any glory as it once had.
• Back then we were punished, not brutally, if we do not speak English in the premises of the school and only spoke Tamil during Tamil classes. This is so, to improve our learning capacity from an early age.
• I'm not saying the students shouldn't speak Tamil but to speak less in their native tongue because when they come home Tamil is the only language they speak, so how can they improve if they aren't subjected to an environment where they are forced to improve their comprehensive abilities and grasp the language?
CBSE schools has much better chance with todays education.
* The results are NOT worth the money.*

Being a Josephite for 12 years (2004-2016) was a mixed experience.
• Sr. Denis (RIP), Sr. Agnela (RIP) and Sr. Victoria were godsends who exemplified true Christian leadership.
• The higher secondary teachers were delightful and insightful professionals who respected their students’ transition to pre-adulthood and interacted with maturity.
• The HSc teachers were open to challenging questions and fresh perspectives.
• The campus architecture, with its numerous staircases, helped students get some great exercise.
• St. Joseph’s students are easily the best dressed in the city with their classy red-piped grey pinafores, white blouses, red ties, and black leather shoes.
• The importance of Catholic Doctrine, Value Education, monthly confession, and First Friday mass cannot be understated.
• The computer labs were well-equipped and the faculty always lent a helping hand.
• The support staff were warm, welcoming, and hardworking. They knew the fundamentals of electrical and mechanical work.
• The basketball team is a feather in the school’s cap.
• The birds, rabbits, and trees helped us foster a connection to nature.
Unfortunately, being a student here came with its fair share of bad memories and negative experiences.
• Despite it being an Anglo-Indian minority institution, Anglo-Indian culture is openly disrespected and heavily misunderstood.
• Undeserving students were allowed to avail themselves of the midday meal scheme and other benefits. Background checks are of the essence.
• Music, sports, art & craft, writing, and language-learning are put on the back burner once students reach middle school.
• Students need more than just a compulsory hour in the library.
• Rote learning was the norm. Originality, creativity, and curiosity were snuffed.
• Outspokenness and verbal self-defence were misconstrued as disrespect.
• You had the best chances of becoming a captain if you were the daughter of a teacher/PTA member, your older sister had a badge, or you played it safe and shrewd.
• Some staff took an unwelcome and unhealthy interest in students’ personal lives (who they met, how they dressed, family situations, social media, etc.).
• A retired teacher body-shamed students to sell beauty products.
• The headmistress who left in 2015 was a tyrant with a gutter-mouth.

An Extra Ordinary Journey of my Son from Pre Kg to School Pupil Leader to School Topper:
It’s gives immense pleasure and pride to provide the review for this Wonderful Institution.
My son Visagan studied in primrose since kinder-garden and we are surprised that 15 years has passed so quickly and effectively.
We have seen primrose develop from a small rented-house in Palavakkam into a massive international school with endless opportunities.
They provided Visagan and all his peers with a superb environment coupled with a curriculum that is not only challenging but also grooms them to be achievers for life.
We as parents found Primrose helping each and every student to bloom by giving all of them opportunities to develop in various fields such as sports, cultural events and Inter School competitions.
The school allowed the student cabinet to be a part of the organizing committee for all the events conducted which shows the level of confidence the school is having for their students. The leadership qualities developed by the school will serve as a solid foundation for their future endeavours. It is heart-warming to know that our kid will grow into responsible individual, ready to face any challenge that comes his way.
A special Kudos to Mr.Ganesh, Principal of the Schools who is always open to providing guidance and assistance. He is a role model to my son. His approachability and willingness to lend a helping hand have created an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. We are truly fortunate to have admitted our son to this Illustrious Institution.

Worst School management, they are absolutely unprofessional with everything. If you want your child to score good and learn good manners, this isn't the right place. They just torture but still no good results. Don't make the terrible mistake of joining this school

Both of my daughters have studied at Primrose School ....
The school management is so keen and particular about safe and clean environment, not only infrastructure wise but also feel wise. It's so appreciable.
Both student -teacher relationship and Parent - teacher relationship are friendly and healthy
The students have more freedom to choose subjects flexibly in higher classes (XI and XII)
The only suggestion is kindly avoid changing teachers often. It affects student's studying interest.

My children are in this institution. While one has completed fully and now in college. Management put their best effort to get the students to be competent in actual real outside world. The result of it is truly known only when you get your child into their next degree course and their efforts shine here, placing the child to be unique and outstanding in one form or the other compared to their new collegemates. Characterwise also they are better off. Basically, you realize at this time that this was attained from this schooling. Keep it up. Efforts and hard work never go in vain.

I give complete Glory to God. I thank God for providing my child with such a wonderful school.
Prioratizing their students and providing what's best for the student has truly impressed me. Not only with academics, but the school has also coloured the lives of students with shades of sports, music and drama. With teachers concentrating on each student individually, it really helps the students to improve on their weaker areas. The effort that the school takes to improve their students' performance outside school hours shows their importance towards the students' education.I thank God for this school and give complete Golry To God.

My elder son is studying in Primrose schools for the last 8 years. Primrose Schools always focus on holistic development of the children and give significant importance to extra curricular activities.
One recent example is the Annual Day program conducted in the Music Academy on 6th and 7th Aug, 2022. The event was awesome. The music , costumes, dance moves coordination , and event organizing were all exceptional. The dance varieties were a feast to the eyes. The hard work put in by the students and teachers was clearly evident from the performances.
