The CRPF Public School is the initiative of CRPF Employees Educational Society. The members of this society took into consideration, the requests of CRPF Jawans who were based in South India, for a good school for their children.

The school is the second venture of the society, the first being the CRPF Public School in New Delhi. The branch in Hyderabad was established in 1996 with an aim to become a Center of Excellence in the field of education.
