We give our children immense love and care at home. We understand their need and curiosity to explore and learn new things. We also understand that there are many things they need to learn besides what textbooks teach them. Once they go to school, the game changes. Since they are out of their comfort zone (their homes), they need someone who would extend the same understanding and empathy. Otherwise, even the simple act of going to school will become an ordeal for them. This responsibility lands on the shoulders of teachers because, after parents, children spend most of their time with their teachers. So, it is paramount that we pick a school that employs teachers who are qualified and empathetic at the same time, encouraging children to learn beyond the textbook and build morals. DAV Centenary Public School is one example. Established in 1985, the school offers a liberal platform for children. It focuses on academics, etiquette, morals, and communication among other things, transforming enthusiastic children into responsible adults. We are going to talk about the school in depth today.

Campus – Safe, accessible, and vast

DAV Centenary Public School is located in Sector 3 in Ukkunagaram, Vizag. The campus is spread across approximately 6 acres of land, and it houses multiple facilities to foster all-round development.

Curriculum – CBSE

The co-educational school is affiliated to CBSE. It has classes up to 12th grade and implements the assessment and teaching patterns that CBSE recommends.

Infrastructure – Includes everything a child could ask for

Within ~6 acres is a world of learning, fun, morals, and more. The entire school is designed in such a way that children learn something important from every corner. Here’s a closer look:

Classrooms

Large classrooms with multiple learning tools and a good student-teacher ratio encourage children to study their lessons comfortably.

Laboratories

Practical education is a large part of growing up, and DAV Centenary Public School facilitates that with fully-furnished computer, science, and math laboratories.

Library

With over 5000 titles in different categories, the library is a true trove of knowledge that children are free to make full use of.

Playground

The school’s staff consists of physical training instructors who are qualified to coach children in a variety of sports such as table tennis, athletics, volleyball, and kho-kho. The vast playground and sports room are equipped with all the required facilities for the same.

Co-curricular activities

Without co-curricular activities, a part of our children’s intelligence would be left unexplored. Thankfully, the school understands the importance of activities and encourages children to learn drama, clay modeling, public speaking, painting, gardening, music, dance, and more.

Medical room

Keeping in mind that children may fall ill or get hurt in school, the school keeps its medical room equipped with basic first-aid requirements at all times.

Academics – Wholesome, thanks to qualified teachers

Teachers build the foundation and help children work their way up. Thus, only qualified teachers must be given the responsibility of influencing so many children. DAV Centenary Public School does a great job here, carefully hiring teachers who have proven to do well in their respective fields. The school also collaborates with parents on a regular basis to keep them updated about progress, difficulties, and concerns (if any). This enables parents also to understand how their children are doing and help in every way possible. Studying here is blended with activity and play to keep things interesting. The CCE pattern laid out CBSE is followed to guarantee wholesome learning. Teachers help children at every step, especially when they are facing difficulties. We are positive that by now you are convinced that DAV Centenary Public School is indeed a great CBSE school. If your child is studying at this school or if you are an alumnus, we would love to hear more so that we make this article more comprehensive. Please feel free to comment.
