Don Bosco – A School Of Excellence

Spread across 10.37 acres, Don Bosco School is located in  Alaknanda, Delhi. Established in the year 1980, this English medium school has been run by a one and a half century old organisation- Salesians of Don Bosco. It is affiliated to the CBSE board and is a boys only school. The school takes pride in providing education to economically weaker sections of the society through various programs like Ankur-Don Bosco, Ashalayam and Evening coaching centres.

The school aims at creating a safe space for the students so that they feel secure, happy and heard. Facilities

The various facilities include a wide range of sports activities on campus like Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carroms,Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, dance room, two different music rooms, auditorium, fully equipped medical room, counselling room, library. The campus is under CCTV surveillance and proper safety measures have been taken at various steps such that safety of students can be ensured.

The buildings and the classrooms are well ventilated to let the ideas flow with an open mind. The classrooms are also facilitated with an integrated community computer that functions as a computer, projector, and television. It also has a state of the art auditorium which can accommodate more than 1500 students. 

Extra Curricular

Apart from imparting excellent education to students, Don Bosco provides multiple options for a student to explore his/her inner true passion. One can join drama club, cultural club, analytix club, maths club, eco club and many more. 

Students can also participate in various inter school events like bosco fiesta, gk quiz, bible school, maths presentation. The school also organises other events like chess, poetry, speech competition for different classes. 

Other than that, the school also organises various social events like Swachata Pakhwada, where on every 2nd september the teachers, principal and students take pledge not to litter any public place and participate in cleaning their school. Other such events are Green School Drive and Ankur Donbosco which is a voluntary educational initiative of the school for poorer children of the neighbourhood or for those who could not complete the education. 

Admission

Admissions to any class other than KG depends on seat availability. The process is simple: all you have to do is submit an admission form post which will submit all the documents. The admission is confirmed only after depositing the fees. Kindly note, the admission period at Don Bosco School is from January to March.
