New Horizon Gurukul Pre School Bangalore: About Montessori Method & Daycare Facility

Established in the year 2012, New Horizon Gurukul Pre School, a pre-primary school in Bangalore was established with a well-balanced combination of the play way method and the Montessori method to fulfill the needs of young children in the kindergarten age group. The vision is to develop each child as an individual with enriching values based on the philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita to enable the children to become self-reliant and well-equipped for further education.

A well-balanced combination of the play method and the Montessori method is followed at NHGPS to provide a scientific and carefully planned learning environment that encourages the children to develop and express their unique abilities.

The academic program classes include – playgroup, nursery, LKG, and UKG. The subjects taught are – English, Maths, Environmental Science, Hindi/Kannada for LKG and UKG, Dance, Drama, Value education, Art and craft, Music, General knowledge, and physical education.

Eligibility for Admission at NHGPS is as follows:

Playgroup

Children who have completed 2 years as of 1st June of the joining Year are eligible.

Nursery

The child should have completed 3 years as of 1st June 2023, for admission to Nursery.

Others

For all other classes, the corresponding age is taken into account for admission.

School Environment

At New Horizon Gurukul Pre School Bangalore, young children start the day by chanting Vedic mantras which leads to a positive start to the day. The ambiance at New Horizon Gurukul Pre School is Vedic themed. The children are taught art and craft that improves their creativity of children, concepts are taught and reinforced using techniques like clay modeling, role plays, puppet theatre, color day, market day, and other celebrations. Frequent field trips are conducted to enhance the child’s world of knowledge. The environment at NHGPS school is very lively. Day Care Facility

New Horizon Gurukul Pre School offers a daycare facility. The facility is available for all pre-primary grades ( ie. Play Group, Nursery, LKG and UKG ). There are indoor as well as outdoor activities that each and every child can take part in while they are at the facility. The children are supervised by expert professionals who cater to all the needs of the child while they are at the daycare centre. The children are monitored by the daycare teachers during various activities that they participate in and each child is given the independence to explore their interests and creativity.
