About the ‘Bandhan’ event
Bandhan literally translates to ‘bonding’ or ‘bond’. New Horizon Gurukul Pre School’s Bandhan evet event was celebrated as a part of its extracurricular activities, keeping up with the motto of maintaining a blend of values and academics. The eternal bond between the parent and child was celebrated in the event. The event was meant to give parents the opportunity to spend quality time with their child thereby strengthening their ‘bond’. One or both of the parents were provided with the opportunity to bond with their child/children at New Horizon Gurukul Pre School’s Bandhan event. The highlight of the event was that the event was not a competition but rather a roadway to help children learn, explore and enjoy without wanting to focus on the trophy and focus rather on spending quality time.
All parents had to do was register themselves and engage in various activities meant to enhance their ‘Bandhan’ or ‘bond’ with their child. The wide array of activities included Singing, Dance, Short Skit, Musical Instrument, a Magic show, Mono acting, and Master Chef (fireless cooking). The children were clad in beautiful dresses in sync with the event. The parents too were enthusiastic and came prepared with their respective selected activities. Each pair was given a maximum of three minutes to display their act. The beautiful motto behind the event – the Bandhan, was reflected in every act and it only helped families bond over activities.
It also helped children in the development of multiple skills making New Horizon Gurukul Pre School one of the best schools in Bengaluru.
