I studied in this school several years ago. It is next only to hell with terrible, insensitive teachers. Please don’t take this as the rantings of a disgruntled student. Over the years, I have contacted several alumni and have heard similar horror stories.
The teachers use verbal abuse and even physical means such as slapping to get their way.
Jacintha Mathew, Sumitra Bagchi, Sharmila Datta are some of the worst ones. I have fallen prey to the cruel treatment meted out by them.
Not just me. Several students have reported that their self esteem has taken a severe toll due to these so called “caretakers of education and learning.”
I think these teachers are still members of the staff in NPS.
Please do not enroll a piece of your heart here.
The mind of a child is innocent and tender. The behavior of such teachers causes a deep impact on one’s self-respect and personality, which takes several years of therapy and introspection to heal.
The school is certainly not worth it. There are far far better schools in Bangalore.

NPS Indiranagar, failed on 3 counts -
1. On 14 Jan 2023, when they conducted the entrance exam from Classes 2 to Class 10, prospective candidates nor parents, were informed that everyone should enter through the Sai Darshan road entrance as the School is spread between 2 roads. All anxious parents and students were made to run around, like in the Railway station, if the announcement, is made about a change in the platform - Not well organized or thought of the plan.
2. On the website or email or sms, no information had been provided, so far, about the entrance exam results or candidates who were selected. No realistic expectations were set - only Vague, Endless wait. Is it lottery or what? Its high time, they change at least for Academic year 2024-2025. No Corporate Social Responsibility nor Value for Ethics and Principles. Whatever position, the principal or founder are IN, it's all because of Society and they should reciprocate the faith and trust in kind.
Even the Birla Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology, and the University of Massachusetts send out Selection letters or Regret letters, informing the outcome of the entrance exam after due diligence of the Selection procedure.
Except getting a royalty from Franchisees by posting Dr.KP.Gopalakrishnan's photo, in every nook and corner of Bangalore, I didn't find any worth in the School Ethics, Selection procedures, transparency, or integrity. What would they inculcate and impart, when they themselves are deficient of ethics?
They are not feeling accountable for the Rs600 School brochure and an Application form that parents and students have bought from them and NPS Indiranagar are not safeguarding nor deserving of the trust set on them. This callous and negligent treatment of prospective applicants will surely affect NPS Indiranagar's brand image in the short and long run.
3. Any emails to Smt.Shanta. V.P(Principal of National Public School Indiranagar) Smt. Santha Gopalakrishna(Founder Director) nor Smt.Bindu Hari (the Academic head of NPS group), will not receive any response or accountability. It's like email hits a Vacuum and eternal, perennial silence. They are NOT realising that Society made them in whatever position they are in and they are socially responsible to revert. No Grievance Redressals are addressed as such.
Hope they make amends to their Esoteric, Cult-like approach at least for admissions for Academic Year 2024 to 2025.

They hire highly qualified teachers and the pay is pretty handsome. Not a single staff were asked to leave the institution during tough Covid times which speaks to self on how much they care the staffs over there.

This not only demotivates the students but also insults their caliber. It’s a request for the management to not distribute any cash price if it’s this low. Just invite and reward(with trophies or goodies) them that would be great. Thank you.

I have spent 12 years of mine in Fusco’s School but this wasn’t really a school because the principals, teachers and support staff made me feel as if I was at home. Now parting from it feels like parting from my family…Yes ‘family’ or more appropriately my FUSCO’S family as the love, care, support and guidance that they gave made the school as my second home.
I whole heartedly thank our principal , Sr.Ronicka Chandra ,who always supported and guided us . Inspite of her busy schedule, she used to come to our class and interact with us. She is the one who chose such wonderful teachers for us. Since the time I entered the school I could receive the unconditional love of the teachers. They not only taught us academic lessons but also lessons of life. They taught discipline, good manners and values that are more important in today’s society than the bookish knowledge. No matter how the student was, they always treated her or him as their own child. The school management is simply superb. The support staff has assisted us all these years and has ensured that we stay comfortable. I could see the tears in the eyes of not only the teachers but also the aunties .
Such precious ,tender, pure and unconditional love can only be found only in Fusco’s school.

Not a 'too good' school, the fee is higher than their standards. The entire building and surroundings and facilities are pretty good. They have extra curricular activities but collect high fees for each and every little things, like SO MANY THINGS. We have a library but children can only read the books given by the librarian....well that is not a problem because they must learn to read any book/novel and not only silly stories. Honestly some teachers don't care about the student burden, they think that they are the only subject that exists and only homework to do and no other work is given from others or students have no other job to do other than study at home, but still they're doing an excellent job in everything else. They've got a few really good teachers. The staff is unnecessarily strict sometimes but no big problem I guess. So many unnecessary rules. The school forbids students to use any kind of social media/internet account, INCLUDING EMAIL? WHAT? what is their problem? We had a rule that we could wear any watches unless they are digital? They randomly decide to ban all watches? They collect school bus fee for 12 months? Yes.
So yes that is all I have to say, 3 stars is more than enough. I don't think I'm wrong if I say the new principal messed up this school.

After all the search I had choose this School for my daughter for I std on 2019.
Only First Standard she had a chance to attend the physical classes.
For 2nd Std its On-line Class through WhatsApp, Where the teachers record the session and share in the group, students have to go through the recording lessons.
this year they have not prepared for the on-line classes.
For third standard its on-line classes in MS-Teams. This year they have well prepared for on-line classes.
Pros:
1) This school has a good space and good ground.
2) There are few good teachers.
3) School declares leave for all religious function :)
Cons:
1) Fees is very Very high.
2) There is no way to track the children's activity, Home work or other activities.
3) Website login only works to download the mark sheet.
4) For the whole school, there is a single security, there is difficulty in monitoring the children's movement.
5) As usual like other schools, in this school as well teachers focus more on specific children's who score good marks.
6) Language communication is OK OK , not that great.
Final Word : Its an average school with good infrastructure and high Fees Structure.

St. Alfonso Maria Fusco (March 23, 1839- February 6, 1910 ) was a Roman Catholic priest and Founder of the Congregation of the Sister of St. John the Baptist, commonly known as Baptistine Sisters. Don Alfonso Maria Fusco was born to Aniello Fusco, a farmer and his wife Giuseppina Schianove, at Angri, Saleno, Italy, March 23, 1839. Alfonso’s birth was attributed to the intercession of St.Alphonsus de Ligouri, whose tomb was visited by the couple, since they did not have a baby even after four years of their marriage. A redemptorist Father assured them that they would have a son, whom they would call Alfonso. Two month after the infant’s birth, Alphonsus de Ligouri was canonized. While they were there, the Redemptorist Francesco saverio pecorelli told them: “you will have a son; you will name him Alfonso; he will become a priest and will live the life of Blessed Alphonso”. He told his parents when he was eleven that he wanted to become a priest, and on November 5, 1850,’ freely and with the sole desire to serve to God and the Church”, as he himself declared many years later, he entered the Episcopal Seminary of Noceradei Pagani. On May 29, 1863, he was ordained by the Archbishop of Salerno, Monsignor Anthony Salomone, amidst the joy of his family and the enthusiasm of the people. Quickly he distinguished himself among the clergy of the Collegiata of St. John the Baptist in Angri of his zeal, his regular attendance at liturgical services and for his diligence in the administration of the sacraments, especially the Sacrament of Reconciliation where he revealed his paternal understanding of his penitents. He devoted himself to the evangelization of the people through his sample and incisive style of preaching.
During the night of February 5, 1910, he felt unwell. He requested and then received the sacraments in the morning of February 6; after having blessed with trembling hands his own daughters weeping around his bed, he exclaimed: “Lord, I thank you, I have been a useless servant.” Then, turning to the sisters: “from heaven I will not forget you. I will pray for you always.” And he slept peacefully in the Lord.
News of his death spread quickly and for that entire Sunday, there was a procession of people crying and saying: “The father of the poor is dead; the saint is dead!”.
His witness has been an inspiration of life and a means of grace, especially for his Sisters spread today throughout four continents. On February 12, 1976, Pope Paul VI recognized his heroic virtues; on October 16, 2016, Pope Francis raised him as Saint, and offered him as an example to priests, and a model for every one as an educator and protector especially to the poor and the needy.

Please do something 2). Please change the colour of the building to either green or cream, grey or light blue-the combination of read & pink really doesn't look nice for a school(looks like a Police station/jail). Staff are good, teaching has to be modernised bringing in more multimedia & games. Thanks.

I was only contacted post 1 week after i raised a complain. I was told assesment will be conducted and will update you however didnt get any calls till date. Nevertheless i already made up my mind.
Biggest question is why cant you let the parents know about your school and admission process if they have taken their time out to visit the school. Do u charge 500 fee just to pass on information.
I understand assesment is required but what will change post assement either you allow or deny admission based on merit but your academic fees and admission fee can be updated to parents. For admission in nursery what will change as per assement ? School fee or admission fee?
They dont update you anything and if this is the condition at first what will be their response once your child is in school.

My journey with new horizon started in the year 2010. The school is located in the heart of the city and it is accessible. The teachers are well trained and they make the children very comfortable. Innovative teaching methods are followed and they are up to date with the latest teaching methodologies. The teachers are very approachable and great attention is given to each child. Apart from academics, a lot of importance is given to different co-curricular activities and sports too. children are taught the values too. We are very happy with the school and the management.

My daughter has been studying here since nursery. It is a very good school which emphasizes on the holistic development of a child and not just academics. They ensure that the child grows up to be a confident and happy individual with good moral values and a sense of giving back to the community. They also have some great initiatives like the Atal tinkering lab which only a few other schools have. I am very happy with the progress of my daughter so far.

I don't ever write reviews, but this school deserves one. One of the only schools Ive seen In Bangalore that uses these unique modular interlocking plastic tiles all over their ground, this stuff is great kinds don't get as much as when they fall down, and it doesn't get hot during those sunny days. They must have spent a whole lot on it. Props to the school for always upgrading their infrastructure.

It is a really good school, the teaching staff is hard working and well qualified. It is not only good in academics but also in extra curricular activities. They have options to choose for different clubs based on the student interests. They do not pressurize the students but instead help him/her, if he/she is poor in her academics and give great strategies to improve too.
