As an ex-student (1999 pass out), I give complete credit to our great teachers and the institution for whatever I have achieved in life. I often still find myself walking around with my hands at the back.

This place is right behind huge Bsnl Office opposite to empire restaurant. At first you get may get confused finding this place as they do not have any visible board of school. Coming to school, it is one of the best educational institutions in bangalore. It was established by KP Gopala krishna Sir. The school has many franchise center in bangalore like NPS kalkere, NPS white field, NPS Jalahalli to name the latest around bangalore. It's core branches are in Indiranagar, Rajaji nagar, Koramangala, HSR layout, in bangalore and one in Mysore, Singapore, Chennai each. They hire highly qualified teachers and the pay is pretty handsome. Not a single staff were asked to leave the institution during tough Covid times which speaks to self on how much they care the staffs over there. Education: they follow CBSE syllabus and needless to say it has the best teachers who are children centric and always willing to go extra mile to help children. Teachers provide constructive feedbacks regularly to both parents and students. They are also known for good sports records and extra curricular activities apart from academics.

One of the biggest regrets I have is that I did all of my education here. Really wish I had left when I could. It's really not worth it, and the reputation it has is built on the talent of students who I believe would've succeeded regardless.

No sense of accountability and empathy for the students My daughter applied for STD 11 admission for YR 20-21, all formalities were done as required by school. We got an acknowledgement from INR stating date , time and mode of entrance examination . They mentioned that a Google Meet invite will be shared with us on the day of exam, and the candidates would need to appear for the test using that. From morning we waited for the invite and it never came , I personally tried to call them but no one picked the phone . I have also written multiple emails to them , but they never responded . I later got to know that similar incident happened with many other students , next day I spoke to their receptionist and to my surprise she told me that everyone who has applied has been able to write the exam without any technical glitches . Instead of empathizing with the plight of the student she was rude and unapologetic . Same evening I got to know that they have already offered seats ( based on what is anyone’s guess ) to some of the students I personally know. That is NPS Indiranagar for you .

National Public School Admission Procedure

Parents seeking admission to National Public School, Indiranagar, for various classes are requested to register online with the following documents attached

  • Copy of Birth Certificate or Aadhaar card, as applicable
  • Copy of last 3 years academic progress report from the previous school

The completed registration forms with all documents will be accepted at the school Reception on all working days between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.

A large number of parents seek admission to National Public School, Indiranagar. We would like to inform every parent that we have very limited seats available. As per the policy and directive of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), we have the following guidelines for admission. Even the department of education follows the same.

  1. The first priority is for siblings. Applications from siblings are usually more than twice the number of seats available.
  2. The second priority is for children of our teachers and other staff members.
  3. Priority for admission is also listed for alumni of our school. As you are aware, NPS has been functioning since 1959. Children of the alumni group are also many.
  4. The next preference is for the nationally mobile group, including central services and other transferable services of India.
  5. There is also another category of people who are internationally mobile coming from schools outside India. Bangalore is seeing a large number of this migratory group who are seeking admission to NPS.
  6. Now the government prioritises admission for minorities from different states of India to promote national integration.
  7. Admissions to Grades II to IX will depend on the vacancies likely to arise on account of withdrawal due to parents’ transfer.

To have an effective teaching learning process, we maintain limited class strength. Considering the limited number of seats available, it is expected that those who seek admission will realize and understand the constraints the institution faces. The disappointment of not getting admission should not become a matter of unhappiness among parents.
