In past few years, over multiple occasions, the school - Delhi Public School, East (on Sarjapur road/ Sulikunte) Bangalore, has exceeded our expectations as a parent. The school provides holistic development of students from academic to extracurricular activities. It encourages various activities based on child's interests & goals and helps our kids to be 'future ready' and 'street smart'.
Recently the School conducted 'Sundust Carnival' at a massive scale throughout 3 days within the school campus. We were mesmerized with overall arrangements and niche performances from the students. The management has converted the entire school campus into a mini amusement park with rides, food stalls, shopping arena, games, planetarium and so much more for students, their friends and families.
We would like to applaud the management, staff, teachers and students for organizing such a large scale event professionally and execute flawlessly.

I had a terrible experience with this school. My classroom was literally in the basement. There was hardly or no ventilation there. It used to get extremely cold during the winter. But still, this is not a big deal.
Well apart from that, some faculty weren't up to the mark. Even in a class of 30, they could never connect properly with anyone. The curriculum for the entire year wasn't structured at all.
There was only one sports period in the whole week, which was not more than half an hour long. Pathetic!
They claimed that the food in the cafeteria was healthy, but it used to be nothing but cold fried and partially cooked.
Even the peer groups in the school, and a few of the club departments sucked. Many students used to be found involved in some concerning mischievous activities. The actions that used to be taken on them were never of any significance.
Few labs were outdated with old types of equipment. There were not many safety standards or protocols, that were followed in the lab.

Supervisor never ready to take the feedback and supporting the drivers behavior. Says 60 km/hr speed is locked in buses where the speed limit within city limit is 40 km/hr. When i'm trying to warn him about any possible incidents that the rash driving of these drivers might cause, supervisor started abusing with all good words and tells me that I don't have any better work to do.

Worst reception I have ever seen. I went to get admission for UKG for my son. I was standing at the reception and the lady (the receptionist I believe) was speaking to someone on the phone. So I was waiting patiently. After 2 minutes, she asked me the purpose of my visit. I said I am here for admission. She didn't even reply to me and started to attend another call she received. After a minute, again she asked me the same question and asked me to go to another room which she could have told me before without keeping me waiting.
At the admission room, the person was so lethargic and handed me a small piece of paper and a pen and asked me to note down the fee structure. No Boucher nothing. Pathetic.
The fee structure is too high.
The area is too far from the residential areas and not school friendly. Too many heavy vehicles cross the area. The place is inside some forest area with no proper security. No wonder if any wild animal comes and pays a visit.

My two daughters are studying here.
The infrastructure is great, the teachers are well trained.
The annual calendar is filled with academic and extra-curricular activities.
Good communication between staff/school and parents. I am yet to spot even a single spelling mistake in those well written communications.
The processes are well established and ensure strict adherence to the timelines.
Yes, it is a bit overcrowded, the receptionist hardly sees the need to make parents happy and the academics are handled impassively without much passion. This may be because of the involvement of teachers in all other aspects of schooling,
not just teaching.
Yet compared to other schools, this school serves the very purpose of overall development of a child, within reasonable fee structure.
Now, if you are thinking about extra focus on academics, please enroll for some additional coaching.

As a parent of two daughters, one in preschool and the other in grade 5, I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Inventure Academy. From the very start, the school has provided an incredibly nurturing and supportive environment for both of my children, catering to their individual needs and encouraging them to explore their interests.
For my preschooler, Inventure Academy has been a wonderful introduction to learning. The teachers are warm, caring, and patient, creating a welcoming atmosphere where my child feels safe and excited to go to school every day. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to be both engaging and educational, with a perfect balance of play-based learning and foundational skills. It’s amazing to see how much my little one has grown in confidence and independence since starting here.
My older daughter, who is in grade 5, has also thrived at Inventure Academy. The school’s approach to education is holistic, focusing not just on academics, but also on character development, creativity, and critical thinking. The teachers are exceptional in their ability to connect with students and make learning both challenging and enjoyable. I’ve seen my daughter develop a genuine love for learning, as well as important life skills like teamwork and leadership.
One of the things I appreciate most about Inventure Academy is the strong sense of community. The school fosters open communication between teachers and parents, and there’s a real partnership in ensuring the best outcomes for the children. Both of my daughters have made wonderful friends and feel a true sense of belonging.
Overall, Inventure Academy has exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a place where both of my daughters are not only gaining a strong academic foundation but are also becoming confident, well-rounded individuals. I’m so grateful to have found a school that truly cares about the holistic development of its students.

The teaching methodology encourages children to form their own opinions rather than simply memorizing textbook content. This approach fosters critical thinking and a deeper understanding of subjects.
The school's "Celebration of Learning" events are a fantastic way for students to showcase their practical knowledge. These events not only reinforce what they've learned but also help them apply concepts in real-life situations.
My personal favorite aspect of Inventure Academy is the outbound activity program. The camping trips allow kids to spend a few days away from home, learning invaluable life skills, social skills, and discipline. It’s rare to find a school that offers such a well-rounded curriculum, and I am grateful for the positive impact it has had on my children.
Overall, Inventure Academy provides an excellent educational experience that prepares students for the real world in a fun and engaging way. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a holistic education for their child.

The children were some of the most unruly children I’ve ever come across. The flight was full of them, and they made life difficult for other passengers. They kept throwing bottles at each other, kept shouting obscenities, and playing pranks on each other. It was only when a kind lady scolded them toward the end of the flight that they went quieter.
It only goes to show how lazy the school administration is, that they didn’t send a teacher along to ensure the children behaved well. A bunch of misbehaved children which only goes to show the privileged backgrounds they come from, an ugly ugly experience.

Prefer ranking this school #1 above all other schools in Bangalore. The facilities and infrastructure are truly impressive. Upon entering the school compound, a grand arch welcomes you, and the quality of the roads is exceptional—surpassing even those in New York. The proximity to nature is remarkable, with well-maintained forests, trees, and plants.
The notable feature of this road is its attached swimming pool. If you happen to be commuting on a two-wheeler, you are welcome to use the pool facility for free. Feel free to take a refreshing dip.
As you proceed, there's a lovely jellystone embedded where your vehicles can soar like airplanes. Moreover, it's an incredibly dust-free and pollution-free pathway. I've significantly enhanced my bike stunting skills—sliding and skidding—since I use this road daily.
In conclusion, our esteemed principal and management are readily accessible. It pleasantly surprises me that they schedule a monthly appointment to listen to my feedback on the school and its facilities. As a person from the lower-middle class, the fees are easily affordable, and each year they exhibit hesitation in implementing a minimal fee increase of 1.5%.

Currently one of the worst IB schools in Bangalore. Most of the reviews posted here are fake!
As per the latest results, around half the grade 12 students have failed and have to retake their exams around the coming November. Most of the good teachers have already left and the new recruits have little or no IB training. The poor results of such a large number of students is a clear indication of the poor performance of teachers and lack of ownership by the management.
Fees are still sky high and unjustified for the current status of the school. Its a shame how the quality of the school has deteriorated in such a short span of time.
The only bright spot is that the previous principal has already left and the current useless coordinator is also on the way out. Hopefully the new principal is able to do something about the quality of education in this school, else a lot of students are going to be left in the lurch. Good luck to the new team who have a lot of work at hand.

Great school to enrol into. Here, they will teach you subjects from the IB curriculum at a proficient level, allowing you as a student (I’m a graduate) to reach levels of comprehension well.
Unlike other schools, the vibes in the school are immaculate with a great staff to support the students through difficult times, stressful times, and through your academic journey as well, hand-holding wherever it is required. The teachers are often cheerful and take you seriously when providing suggestions and needing help.
I do hold a few gripes with the school here and there though: sometimes there does seem a distinct lack of communication between students and staff in the case of upcoming events, where you must rely on word of mouth to learn new events.
Additionally, some situations have occurred in my time where a few (extremely rare) incidents are brushed off as unserious when things are heavier in reality. Without going into detail, even with teachers around, my friend was picked on and he reached a breaking point only after which the school took the matter seriously. I want to reemphasize that this is not common and the school has learnt from this as well when a recent incident made the school take much quicker action. So props to them.
Finally, I MUST discuss turnover. I am not sure why but there is really high turnover between teachers and it hinders learning with frequent change in styles of teaching that affects how well we students can learn. However, that added stress to a student has definitely made me more adaptable to different teaching styles and persevering in grades and in general the subjects. Examples: 3 different psychology teachers, 3 different CS teachers, 2 different math teachers.
Even so, I wanna give a round of applause to Ajay sir, who is a great coordinator, funny, loves and cares for all the students and does his best to make us give our work on time 😂. He encourages the whole of myp and dp to do their best and influences the other teachers to do the same, whom do apply this all too.
As an education journey, I highly recommend the school for your children and I hope the negatives are constructively taken by the school and fixed as the new principal takes stage from academic year 24-25 and onwards.

Positives:
1)The school has a fair eduction program and relatively experienced teacherds.
Negatives
1) The school has a vast area used for bus parking and parents vechicle parking which is covered with loose soil and most part of the school becomes dusty and kids fall ill because of the dust allergy which was not addressed even after raising several concerns.
2) The school does not provide transportation for any school related events like sports or leadership events which happens in school premises which all other international schools do.
3) Sports is given least priority in the school for an SFA event parents were made to take the kids to the event which for 40 kilometers away using their own transport and taking leaves for our offices.
4) They dont address any concerns of parents they just try to answer vaguely and try to give temprory solutions or Incapable solutions.
5) The have very old equipment's like BSNL Phone connections which don't work properly for voice communication and they dont have any facilities which are of the standard of international and they do not upgrade their app etc which are outdated as well but their fees is as high as any other international school in bangalore.

Dear parents and viewers,
I am an ex student of Oakridge International School, and to be honest I hated it there. First of all, the teachers were inexperienced, biased and used swear words very often (not all of them). The teachers were often biased toward certain group of students. The food was horrible, they served only veg, the food was very dry and tasteless. They often referred to the school as a bully free zone, but the fact is that there is a lot of bullying going on around the school premises. The teachers didn't really care about anything, they would come to class very late, not post sufficient resources for the students. One thing that I would like to the say was that, they asked all the students to attend tuitions, then what is the point of attending school. Pallavi Mishra, the principal of the school is biased toward her own daughter studying in the same school. All the competitions were rigged because of this and practically unwinnable. So if you are a parent, and you read till here. I wouldn't recommend that you take admission here, and let your child/children to this school.
PS: If i had a chance to rate the school lower than 1 star, I would but these people are lucky that I couldn't rate it lower.
Thank you,
The Critics.
Edit: I aint sending you a mail or anything. If you want, accept the feedback and make your school a better place.

I am a student of this school, and have been since 2017. Everyone, and I mean everyone agrees that this school was better off before N.A.E. The quality in teachers has drastically gone down. There is no stability in teachers, frequently being replaced, and to top that off, they’re hiring CBSE teachers for an IB curriculum school, and most teachers are teaching the wrong subject. In simple terms, the teachers DO NOT teach (at least, do not teach very well, and lack any respect for students and our wellbeing). This school is entirely a namesake school. The community of Oakridge might be an amazing one, but Oakridge is a school. And in a school, students are supposed to be taught. Another complaint regards the buses. Bangalore has enough rash drivers as it is, we need not add to the problem. Exams at oakridge are especially a problem. They put multiple exams (4-5) in 1 day, and expect students to adjust. When the complaints from parents were sent, the school turned a blind eye and simply ignored them, even when said exams had portions that had not been taught whatsoever to the students (out of portion questions in exams). There are many more complaints, but, I won’t digress as I believe these are the most pressing issues.
All of us, as a school, as a student community, begs Oakridge to PAY ATTENTION to these issues and resolve them.

Our family just moved from abroad earlier this year. My daughter, 4 years old, transitioned from a pre-school to OISB (EYP 1) in August. It has been a wonderful experience for us so far.
First off, her teachers are GREAT. They have given individual attention and made sure the kids are very comfortable with them. My daughter once asked why can't Sandhya ma'am and Ruth ma'am (her Home Room Teachers in EYP 1) also come teach her skating in our apartment instead of learning from a new teacher. This says it all on the level of comfort :). All the teachers I have come across so far seem to have very good knowledge about how to handle each child uniquely depending on their personality. I have personally observed them give more opportunity to the shy ones to speak up, give more attention to a kid that did not pick up drawing quickly etc. all while NOT being so explicit.
Curriculum: They follow IB. music, dance, drama, yoga, swimming, so many more "extras" are all in the curriculum which I LOVE. And all these subjects revolve around one single topic which is another good way for the kids to gain deep understanding. For instance, if they are learning about signs, they make patterns using signs in math, learn musical signs, act like they're on the road in drama etc.
Will kids be forced? No. But will they still learn? Yes. There's no "you do it because I said so" that I experienced as a child. When a child comes up with a genuine suggestion like, "ma'am can I use rainbow colors instead of one?" they are explained about why that object should be a certain color but then encouraged to go ahead with their creativity to make an imaginary thing rather than "disciplined" to use only one color.
Other than these they have parent involvement where parents spend time with all the kids in the classroom - read stories, work on crafts. This helped get a sense of what my kid's typical classroom session feels like. There are also sessions with teachers/leadership often to help build relationships to work as a team in raising the kids.
Finally, would I put my younger son in Oakridge when he's old enough? YES :).

[2023 Updated] TLDR - Avoid this school. Non responsive, bluffed promises, high fees, no school policy, don't take care of kids well, poor infra with no spends on maintenance.
Longer version -
Horrible experience with this school. First let me give pros and cons and then share my story.
Pros -
- Large campus with a number of amenities
- IB curriculum that enables seamless movement across countries
- Apps given to parents to track everything
Cons -
- Its all gas what you read in brochure, most of it is written to attract parents
- There are no fixed admission policies, so don't go by their age guidance, ask for which class you want your kid to be in for border cases
- Non responsive staff. Teachers, admin, principal nobody feels its important to reply to parents on email
- Far off in Sarjapur road, kids get burned out while traveling
- Infra is not maintained. On 1st day the so called AC bus broke down with kids waiting for 45 mins in Varthur road in heat.
My story - They said kids only 3+ years will be admitted to Nursery. When school started we saw most kids are <3 yrs old so we requested that since our kid is 3y10m old be shifted to EP1, which they denied. We said we don't want to continue and asked for a refund which they agreed and said pro-rata refund we will process so we stopped school from next day. They still deducted 35k extra amount citing school policy. None of this communication came on email, I had to drive 1 hr and go to school for every meeting. Asked principal for a call/meeting for >10 times to which no response. Finally decided to go the legal route.

PATHETIC! Is an understatement for this absolutely rubbish school. They just do not respond to your calls ans emails even though you call them a million times. There's no way they'll take responsibility if something happens to our kids. Teachers are complete useless so they want parents to do all the teaching.

I had a pathetic experience at this school and finally moved my son from here. Have enlisted all the issues considering which we made our decision:
1. They did not take our complaints of bullying seriously. Our son was bullied in classes and the teachers ignored it.
2. My 7 year old son felt that he was scolded by teacher (even when he mistakenly pushed someone and had apologised); but teacher did not support him when other kid wilfully pushed him. Teqchers show a lot of favourtism for kids of parents who are participative.
3. They encourage parents to come and read to kids. Teach them. Visit school frequently. Its hard for working moms to do it and they look down upon parents who are not as participative. I think ifs more of a school for kids of stay at home moms.
4. The teachers send late night special requests to be sent to school for next day and belittle parents when they are unable to keep up.
4. Their ciruculum is extremely basic for math and science. My son (rankholder in olympiad) used to feel the studies were underwhelming; a friend told me that math is v poor in neev students. They encourage parents to go and teach math to kids in school in grade 7 (after paying a fee of 7 lakhs plus).
5. My son has only bitter memories wrt his class teacher in this school in grade 1. He is super thankful now that his school is changed. He constantly tells us how kind his new teacher is.
6. Neev early years was extremely good, however, we hated our experience in Academy.
The sole intent of the review is to let other parents know as this is a crucial decision.

The school is just ruining everything around it. Their buses and cars block the entire road, causing a heavy jam situation on the road infront. People park their vehicles and buses, anywhere they feel like and leave it. It has become impossible for us to get out of our homes at their morning starting and afternoon day end timings. Their management should instruct their drivers and parents to use Neev's parkings, to avoid blocking the whole road.

Sure, the ICSE wasn't at all practical; we spent most of 8th, 9th and 10th grade prepping for one exam, but, through all the rote learning I definitely figured what subjects I wasn't cut out for.
Switching to the IB Programme after 10th grade meant I could build some relevant research, writing and thinking skills, which gave me a head start in college. There was also some emphasis on extra-curricular pursuits which I appreciated. Would have loved some more career guidance, and some life skills training (financial management, time management, etc.) though. Cafeteria brownies were also nice ha ha.

As an alumnus of the school, I had an incredibly memorable experience during my 7 years there. The teachers were incredibly skilled and empathetic to ensure we received the best quality of education and were equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in our future endeavors.
There is a keen attention to detail with respect to understanding and performance. A high level of excellence was maintained throughout and every batch’s admits into prestigious colleges is a testament to the same.
What I loved most about the school was the holistic approach to education. The various interhouse competitions in Art, Music, Dance, etc and Sports Days were how I made friends with a lot of new people as well. Every corner of the beautiful campus was full of extremely talented people.
I was extremely well supported and encouraged by all my teachers throughout Middle and High School, especially during the board exams and my musical endeavors. My younger sister, Avani, is an extremely impressive golfer, who has also been a part of this school for the past 7 years. The principal and the teachers have been nothing but a beacon of support throughout her growth and success.
If you're considering Greenwood High International School for your education, I highly recommend it. It is one of the best schools in India for a reason. You won't find a better combination of academic excellence, supportive faculty, and a holistic approach to education anywhere else.

Money minded people who do not care about the kid's future, especially the pre-primary coordinator "Ms. Priya Dorairaj" and former principal "Mr. Alosiyus D'Mello". Both are toxic people who works for the welfare of the school to bring them more money than considering kid's future. When we applied for admitting my daughter (who completed Nursery in other school) for KG1 in GWHS, both of them denied stating that my daughter is September born and 10 days short for admitting into KG1 and hence forced us to get admitted to Nursery with assurance that my daughter can skip a grade (double promotion) in the next couple of years if she is capable of learning fast. After a year, when we asked for skip grade (double promotion), they denied giving lame excuses again like she is 10 days short for that academic year and don't pressurize the kid beyond their age (as if they are really caring about the kid which is never true). Later, we figured out that many kids in my daughter's class were more than a year younger to my daughter and when we questioned about the same about literally deceiving us with false info just to get admission for one grade lower than what we had applied for and hence asked for skip grade (double promotion) again, they finally denied saying that there is no such policy in their school to double promote. We finally realized that they are just money-minded people who wanted one more year of fees with all the false information as much as possible and never worries about wasting one year of education for the kids. DISGUSTING AND SELFISH MANAGEMENT, ONLY MONEY-MINDED. NO MORAL VALUES.
Adding reply to the statement by the school here:
The claim I made here is ABSOLUTELY TRUE and I personally faced it. There is no misinformation of any kind and I am confident about the info I provided here. We tried to meet the principal sir to discuss and solve our concerns. Since we were asked to mail our concerns, we mailed too. Unfortunately, he was so busy that he did not find time to meet us or even reply to our mail. Hence we finally got TC from your school this year as we don't want to spoil our child's education any further, by trusting that our problem will be addressed by the school management.

Similar thing happened few years back when they invited us to school for admission and when we reached there, they sent us back from the gate saying they have some function in school. Wonder if they have this attitude during admission, what will happen once we pay the fees and admit our ward. Very weird behaviour!!!

I joined Greenwood in 2011 and graduated 8 years later. That's most of my school life, and I gotta say I'm pretty satisfied.

If you consider what makes a school the best, what would be your answer? Grades, holistic development of the child, the teachers, the students, the values followed, or the infrastructure of the school campus? What is your answer?
Ultimately, when the child grows up, they need to be independent and come out as responsible, good, and successful individuals who can face any challenges and excel in their chosen field, being the best in their lives.
The teachers know and bond with each and every child. This is what will make the child their best version.

After this,it's upto you to join this school. And one more thing, the school has improved a lot in these years...taking every initiative to correct themselves in every way possible. So the reviews which are posted earlier, the school is trying its best and correcting their mistakes and I could see them with my own eyes.Thats it then. Bye.

Amaatra Academy is a great school. Other than providing a good education platform they also conduct many cultural activities for students like Thematic day, where children can learn real life lessons while participating in different cultural activities. Recently they conducted the Thematic day celebration on the life of great Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, and my daughter participated. The way it was presented, and the work done by the teachers and the support stuff behind this program were simply wonderful. I highly recommend this school.

Recently I visited the school... Management was OK. But there is teacher called naara venkat he was like scholar.. He should learn first how to interact with others... He himself as a math teacher and he should know that minimum manners.. Worstday it was. Himself he assumed that he is a father of mathematics.

As an educational institution Amaatra was a defining factor in my children’s journey . The focus on academia was strong.( minus the homework where you copy from the textbook into a notebook) There was a certain sense of discipline that was encouraged not only in academics but overall too. The school shaped and paved the way for both my kids. We are thankful for the strong foundation it gave us.

Spacious campus, lush green everywhere. Clean and bright classrooms. Many spaces still under construction.
Visited as the Media for AMUN 2023 event. Well organised by the Amaatra faculty, and everything in the event went on smooth. This was my first MUN experience and i was not at all disappointed 🙌🏻

There’s a beautiful quarry lake behind this college and amaatra is dumping atleast 3 trucks on waste on daily basis in that lake..no respect for environment…if they continue this kids and surroundings will be inhaling toxic fumes and also affecting the nearby borewells for life..given they are running this buisness if they are not true with the surroundings they can never be true to their reputation and customers .
Please go through other reviews for photos ,only time they made up to newspaper is not for their teachings but for environmental damage that they are creating.
