Academic Curricuculum & Pedagogy:-

CBSE, New Delhi- Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, JIRS offers the board pattern for students ranging from grades V-XII. JIRS is a leading residential school to provide excellent CBSE patterns with social and cultural mobility with concurrent subjects redefining holistic development for a child.
Jain International Residential School has redefined schooling by blending sciences with humanities to provide ‘Liberal Studies’ with a range of courses like BA, BSC, and BMS at the University level at Jain (Deemed to be) University. JIRS conducts its annual CBSE paper just like the other 20,000 schools affiliated with CBSE in tune with other boards like AISSE (All India Secondary School Examination) and AISSCE (All India Senior School Certificate Examination).

In The CBSE pattern, subjects for grades V, VII, VII, and VIII are three languages as English is mandatory, and the other two languages to be chosen, from Hindi/Sanskrit and French. The other three core subjects are science, Social Science and Mathematics. In Grades IX and X, the curriculum of earlier classes gets an addition for ‘Artificial Intelligence’ as a subject. Physical Health Education is compulsory in all grades as part of the curriculum.
In Grades XI and XII, there are three fields to choose between Science, Commerce and Humanities stream.
In the commerce stream, there are two groups to choose from; Group I consist of English and core subjects of Applied Mathematics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, General Studies, Work Experience and a choice between Physical Education and Music. Group II consists of English and core subjects such as Marketing, Accountancy, Legal Studies, Business Studies, General Studies, work experience, a choice from Economics and Psychology and a choice between Physical Education and Music.
In Science Stream, English is added with core subjects like a choice between Mathematics/ Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science, General Studies, Work Experience and a choice between Physical Education, Painting and Music.
In the Humanities Stream, English alongside Elective Subjects like Legal Studies, Economics/Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, General Studies, Work Experience and a choice from Physical Education/Music/ Painting.

Cambridge International Examination-

Accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service and certified with an ‘ISO: 9001:2015’ number, Jain International Residential School is the leading school in Bangalore and Karnataka providing the ‘Cambridge International Examination’. Jain International Residential is allowed to provide Cambridge Education after matching 206 assessment criteria by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service).

Under ‘Cambridge International Assessment’, the course offered by JIRS based on international education is the IGCSE curriculum of education. JIRS started to offer the IGCSE course after the inclusion in 2004 for the students from Grades VI- X. The international flavour added to the education helps the student grasp the work culture, skills and permits needed to work outside India. The Staggering rate of 6 batches of students from June 2007 to November 2013 completing IGCSE education at JIRS Bangalore is 80% of students getting admission to a Foreign University.
JIRS offers Cambridge Lower Secondary courses for grades VI-VII consisting of subjects; English as the primary language choice alongside a secondary Foreign Language/Hindi/ French/Spanish, alongside core subjects like Mathematics, Science, Computing, Global Perspectives, a choice between Art & Design and Physical Education and Introduction to humanities.
JIRS offers Cambridge Upper Secondary courses for grades IX and X consisting of subjects for two streams; Science and Management Stream.
The Science Stream offers subjects like English as the first language, Second Language as a choice between Foreign Languages/Hindi/ French, Spanish, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Global Perspective and a choice between Information & Communication Technology and Art & Design.
The Management Stream offers subjects like English as the first language, Second Language as a choice between Foreign Languages/Hindi/ French, Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Global Perspective and a choice between Information & Communication Technology and Art & Design.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)-

Jain International is one of the top schools in Karnataka and Bangalore offering a diploma programme, and the journey to offer this program started in 2011. National Identity and cultural support have become the fundamentals of education, challenging that IBDP aims to offer cross-culture understanding to be the alternative to the cultural concept of studies.

The IB Course offered at JIRS is in 6 groups over the span of two years of IB Programmes at the end of which an examination has to be taken up; Group I is Language A as Language and Literature (English), Group II is Langauge B as French B, Hindi B and Spanish, Group III is named Individuals and Societies covering Economics, Business and Management, Environmental Systems, Societies (Inter-disciplinary subject) & Psychology, Group IV is Experimental Sciences covering Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science and Environmental Systems & Societies (inter-disciplinary subject), Group V is Mathematics covering Analysis and approach and Application and Interpretation, and Group VI is Visual Arts.
