Cultivating Global Perspectives: Vista International School’s Collaboration with JDO Foundation

If a school in the 21st century wishes to say that it is preparing its students for the future, it must go beyond traditional teaching methods. Education extends beyond just the four walls of a classroom, it's to explore global perspectives, understand diverse cultures, and develop life skills.

At Vista International School, they promote such values through their collaboration with JDO Foundation, a non-profit educational organization which gives students the opportunity to communicate and collaborate globally. With over 30 countries participating, JDO Foundation allows students of different countries to collaborate on meaningful projects.

The innovative topics bring about thought-provoking discussions and raise awareness on cultural sensitivity and diversity, allowing students to be more perceptive about the world around them. In a world that is more interconnected than ever, the ability to engage with diverse perspectives is not just an asset—it's a necessity.

Students of Vista International, along with their peers from different parts of the world have worked in several projects like “Take a Walk”, “Save Water” “Global news” amongst  many others. The students have expressed that they feel more confident, knowledgeable, and capable as a result of this collaboration, which was the aim of the program.
