One of the best Cambridge schools, right from the principal, to admission and support staff , the school is organised and welcoming. They do have some excellent teachers as well

Teachers have horrible communication skills and you call this an international school?Whàt right do any of you hàve tó call any child idiot or stupid? Half thé timé there is ño teacher iñ class. Take all the money, but where is the education?

Unfortunately, I couldn’t award this school zero stars. My experience was absolutely dreadful. As a fellow student who had spent 14 years here, I continually discovered new layers of politics among the teachers. I apologize for the bluntness, but words cannot properly convey the extent to which this school betrayed me. From day one, I constantly felt compared, and it seemed like some teachers were actively hoping for my failure. To say that I felt isolated in this so-called ‘second home’ is an understatement. My talents were stifled, not nurtured. To make matters worse, my favourite teachers, the ones I looked up to, left GTCS (by 2020, all of my respected and distinguished teachers had left) giving me even more reason to despise this school. It’s disheartening to admit this, having spent 90% of my life here, but I loathed every moment. I cannot and will not recommend anyone to attend this school unless they are willing to sacrifice their humility, skills, and talents in exchange for a series of political manoeuvring, demotivation, and making enemies. Not to mention the extreme bias and inequality my female friends and I had to endure over the years; justifying it as ‘making girls feel safe’ is an abuse of the very concept of creating a ‘safe’ environment for girls. Day after day, not just for myself, we girls faced overwhelming isolation simply because of our gender. There isn’t a valid argument against the undeniable fact that boys at school were being treated as more superior to girls. I can’t believe the regressive thinking that is being ‘taught’ and celebrated in this deceiving ‘home’. It is truly a wasted experience. I leave this school with a broken heart, broken dreams, and broken trust. I hope all my peers find their own paths to success through hard work and personal growth, rather than in this toxic environment. Thank you for reading.
