I am a parent of two children. My children joined RV in 2018, younger one in 2nd grade and the elder one in 6th grade. I did all my analysis before coming from pudukkottai to chennai, regarding the schools in sholinganallur, I chose few schools among one is RV due to its closest proximity to my husband's office too. In and Around Sholinganallur RV is the oldest CBSE school with recognition, even now. The main reason I chose this school is, the reason behind the start of this school is Tsunami. Please check other information in their website. Secondly, the Correspondent Mrs. Lalitha Chandrasekaran. before starting this school she was working in DAV Gopalapuram as a prinicipal. Hence I liked the culture of Ramana School and its teachers. Thirdly, She is down to earth. You can't meet the correspondent of schools in Chennai, even you request, but when I visited the school premises for my sons entrance exam, we have been taken to the correspondent room immediately and there were two ladies sitting in correspondents place, this is a rare seen where most of us dont like to sit equal with our staffs when we are the key person. As I have already seen her photo in the website, I was aware who is the correspondent. The other woman was prinicipal. I admired the way she (correspondent) corrected my sons mistakes in his entrance paper. Finally I selected RV as they were the one who was not fond of getting admissions and ready to accept and portray my son how he is. (This was not the case with the other schools where both my children got selected and was holding confirmed seats of two schools, where they praised, appreciated, celebrated by son and daughter for performing best in entrance. But to praise them high, they didnt do much, other than just completing the entrance well. Moreover the question paper was too silly which helped them to score more. So there is no point is appreciating that much. More over we were not allowed to meet the correspondent too, and their main aim was to get two of my children gets admitted in their school.) I suggest RV to parents who search for a culturally decent and ethichally effective CBSE school in sholinganallur.

I saw myfriend kids studying and saw that how school is teaching not only studies but our traditional arts like silambam, karate, keyboard, athletics, Phoenics, guitar and dance .I would like to appreciate the school management.

My ward in grade 2 this year, teachers and management are good in take care of kids needs. Planning and execution also good interms of academic and extra curricular activities, RV is a good school in Sholinganullur.

TAMIL IS A MANDATORY SECOND LANGUAGE IN THIS CBSE SCHOOL. IF YOUR KIDS STUDIED IN THIS SCHOOL ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO RELOCATE & CONTINUE STUDIES OUTSIDE OF TAMILNADU. OTHER THAN THIS ITS A GOOD SCHOOL AND NICE ENVIRONMENT FOR KIDS TO LEARN & GROW.

Righr from the principal and correspondent to the bottom rung staff everyone works in sync. They know what is expected, and do with self discipline, dedication and enthusiasm. I was pretty impressed with school children giving a tour of rhe school for parents of prospective students. For a person like me who was looking for something different this came as a breeze. Glad to have found Ramana amd I hope my kids will enjoy their stint there.

Choosing the right school is one of the toughest task any parent will face. " RAMANA VIDYALAYA" ticked all the right boxes when it came to curriculum, campus and teaching approach. My daughter is in LKG, as a parent am pleased to say that my child is quite excited to go to school every day. She always look forward to mondays. Their activity based curriculum keep her engaged throughout the day, which she enjoys and await for the surprise factor she is going to experience daily. Within a few months she developed physical co-ordination, healthy habits and comfortable and happy with her friends. She is willing to share and take turns with others. She is now capable to communicate in english and able to understand the language without any unpleasant emotions. I saw a huge leap in very short time. The students are humble and not taking things for granted. The school has nurtured good values and really focussed on making children successful academically and morally. Professionalism by staff and management are to the core. Staffs are very friendly. A big salute to the whole RAMANA team. I believe my child will come out as a good human, knowing all the values and morals. I strongly recommend this school for your kids.

This school focuses on holistic development of a child and I can actually see that as a parent. We are happy with the teachers and the staff. It is good school and so we feel our children are at the right place to their education.

My kids have been studying in this school for more than 2 years. I am immensely happy with the management and staff of the school. All the children are well encouraged and nurtured according to their talents. Starting from the correspondent to the office staff, all the members are very approachable and accommodating. They conduct open houses every year to get inputs from parents and to communicate their expectations to us. They are also very open to new ideas and practices from NLP, family counselling to twin hearts meditation. Kudos to the great work by the whole team!

We love Ramana school a lot. The way they engage the students is really good. Learning is introduced through Playing activities. Events like Family day is good, we would wish you to continue this kind of events. This will help to build School-Family relationships. This environment encourages students to develop their attitude and the overall personality. We are very happy with school performance. My kids are studying here since 2017. We are really happy with the teaching methodology. They really take care of children and give the right feedback during PTM. The management is very approachable and listens to parents. They are responsive to parents questions. Studies-***** Teachers- ***** Infra-*** Management-***** Fees-*** (fee has been increased around 10% per year in the last 2 years)
