The Institute (ICSE board) has dedicatedly enlightened the Calcuttans over the past 186 years. The school management has a strict & diligent vigil over Academics & Discipline, along with other vocational courses & sports activities. The sprawling school campus is one the finest in the city with all amenities. Though this is an Upscale School yet students thrive to get admissions in the elite institution.

One of the best day schools in India and best in the east. This is a Girl's only school the La Martiniere for Boys has a different campus just 50 meters away from the Girl's block. The school have produced a number of renowned scholars and also business personalities. One of the oldest schools in India.
