The leaders of B D Somani inspire everyone to be their very best. They get their colleagues and students to step up not because they have to but they want to. Rapid and constant change is the new norm. Thus through meaningful learning experiences and positive attitude they constantly motivate the students to be ready and prepared for the constantly changing environment as business and technology trends will completely change over the next decade. By unlocking the students' potential they have given the students the confidence to adapt easily as soon smart machines will be their co workers. Challenges are what make life interesting. Students will have to be mentally, emotionally and physically prepared to meet them in the real world. B D Somani has ingrained in the students a sense of responsibility, time management and organisational skills through their tests and homework. When children feel attached to their teachers and look forward enthusiastically to get to school, insisting even on days that they may be unwell, we as parents are assured that they are in the best of hands. Children are lucky to be blessed with teachers, for whom teaching is very spontaneous and does not rest with school work. Once when my child was finding it difficult understanding a book being read to him online, his teacher got in touch with us and had a hardcopy of the book sent across to us, so that he did could read it at home if he wanted to and did not miss out on it ! Yet another time, when we had moved houses last year, the teacher had then suggested that we allow the children to arrange and organise their room entirely, a brilliant idea that let the children explore their independence and responsibility in a very exciting manner ! It is indeed a blessing and privilege to have such an amazing team of teachers, whose commitment is commendable, who goof around with the kids and discipline them at the same time, who push each child to out-do themselves, who nurture them when they need it the most, and who encourage and inspire them to deliver their very best. I have seen and do believe that meaningful learning experiences are a hallmark of B.D. Somani’s unique and exceptional educative journey with each child.

This school has given me wings and kept me rooted. My teachers and the leadership at school are my mentors for life and have always been accessible, approachable and there for us, students! Our time at school was enriched with a very versatile education and opportunities in whatever realm it is that we wished to pursue. This school has set us up for life. And we keep going back to it, in our hearts, through our endless love of learning.

B.D. Somani International School has helped me to grow as a person. The teachers at this school make a relentless effort to make sure that each student is able to not only understand but also enjoy the classes that are being taught. As an alumni, I am also grateful to the school for their effort in helping me build my extra-curricular’s through multiple school events and activities as well as supporting all students in their passions. The school’s pliability has helped shaped me into a better person and I thank all of the faculty and students for this.

My experience as a teacher in BD Somani in the IBDP section was extremely enriching and immensely satisfying. A collaborative and nurturing work environment, with great teaching resources and a hardworking leadership provided a wonderful experience to be a part of this institution. The students at BD are a delight to teach! They are inquisitive, polite and hardworking. I was overwhelmed with the respect and affection that my students gave me. The school provides all opportunities to the students to thrive and develop holistically as wonderful and successful individuals. I will always cherish my time spent in BD for the vibrant learning space that allows the students to grow into happy, confident individuals who learn to appreciate values such as honesty, hard-work and diligence and for the support, respect, appreciation and acknowledgment that the school extends to it teachers.
