We admitted our daughter into pre school at Billabong School Thane after checking out other schools in the vicinity. We chose to get our daughter admitted into the school even though it was further away from our home than the other schools. We did not regret it one bit and I will tell you why.
The moment we stepped into the school, from the way the staff greeted us to the way the teachers interacted with us, we felt a warmth we hadn't experienced in other schools. The school has been most accommodating during the pandemic, successfully conducting some very engaging online classes, so much so that when it was time for offline, my Daughter was literally throwing a tantrum to go to school. From my interactions with the management as well, I have seen that for them giving a good experience for Children and Parents is of utmost importance and I, as a parent hold this in high regard. Billabong High Thane might not have some things that some other schools have, but I will tell you, it has a soul. Something you might not find elsewhere.

I have no complaint regarding the educational aspect of this school.
But this is a complaint from a citizen who is fed up with this school’s parking facility which creates a daily chaos for general public travelling for their day to day work.
I don’t know if they have a school bus or any such facility but what all I see is numerous cars daily coming to pick up n number of students which blocks the road and hinders the daily travelers.
I would really want the concerned authorities to look into this matter and take the action required ASAP .

Terrible school, don't send your kids here. Their is no structure or accountability and all the lower grade kids are well behind where they should be at this stage. There is not record of students grades and data passed along when they move a grade so progress is continuously observed, a lot of the teachers especially expats are not qualified/certified and have very little experience, there is no professional development, even more disturbing is that crime checks and references are not done either which is worrying.The CEO doesn't have a clue and is brainwashed by the admin people who gets what they want without doing their roles properly. So much politics at play amongst staff and lets not forget the constant high turnover of staff each year, if you can't invest in your teachers then standards will be low. Far better schools than this hyped up one.

My kids were enrolled in NIS for a couple of years. Compared to the public schools in northeast USA,our experience was disappointing. The rigor was missing in the elementary grades. They claim to use the Scholastic reading scale; but don’t share the Scholastic level of your child. So you wouldn’t know what books to buy for your kids. Their official line is “we don’t want you to compare your kid with others”. The teachers didn’t quite seem to know much about the Scholastic system. The math level isn’t up to the international standards. They claim to have great scores in IGCSE tests but none of those tests are administered at independent testing centers; so their veracity is doubtful. The extracurricular activities were pitiful. Retention of teachers was another issue.
For us, this felt like a school where wealthy parents sent their kids; without introspection of what their kids were learning.
If you are a returning NRI, there are much better schools in the Powai area. They may not have the fancy facilities but certainly compensate in other areas.

My family relocated to Mumbai from Cincinnati, Ohio in January 2011. We were all very cautiously optimistic about the opportunity that our whole family would have to experience a new culture. My first week at ASB showed me that we had made a great choice. ASB quickly became our 2nd home. The sense of community, love and pride in the school is nothing like I've ever experienced. The leadership at the school, from the Superintendent, down to the Assistant Teachers, is world class. They have the best trained, most highly qualified staff as any school in the World. As I now prepare to leave Mumbai to return to the US- the main thing that we are all sad about is that fact that we have to leave ASB. The friends we have made have become our family. The life skills and educational tools my children have attained are priceless. And the opportunity to volunteer at the school in the PTA has been an amazing experience for me. I have very good experience with Ecole. I really like all the efforts that each teacher takes. The Grade 10 students of Ecole presented an excellent Personal Project exhibition on Feb 29. Ecole is been sold out to JBCN management. All the good teachers are joining Oberoi. Bad future for Ecole kids as JBCN has bad reputation as compare to Ecole. JBCN terminate teachers without any warning and cant afford expensive experience IB staff. Ecole use to pay good salary to bad white expats and bad salary to indian. Both Ecole & JBCN are bad as IB schools. Future of education is now on the head of coaching classes nearby.

Almost all the good teachers have left the school as the management had change to JBCN. The school don't pay well and hire new staff that dont have any IB experience. The top leadership like hods and coordinator gang up and don't allow new expert faculty to be hired. Please don't waste you money in this school. Recently they hired a teacher from Billabong high Andheri physics teacher for MYP teaching making the life of students difficult.

The school & teachers are absolutely amazing. My daughter was admitted into the school last year but then due to the pandemic, she has been unable to attend physically. For the last 1.5 years the virtual school that has been conducted is happening flawlessly and I am amazed at the progress she is making, despite not attending physically. The patience and calm voice in which the teachers convey the subject matter is truly remarkable. This really helps in the children understanding the matter and enjoying school. It cannot be easy to convert all the educational content to fit a virtual forum, but the school has adjusted to this beautifully. As the child gets older there is also a focus in their curriculum on one's own emotional and mental well-being which I found unique and also much needed nowadays.
My daughter is eagerly awaiting the day when the school opens its doors and she gets to meet and play with all her friends, which includes her teachers as well. The school creates the correct environment of peers and teachers in which the children can grow. Further, they also help to inculcate values & discipline.
I could not ask for a better school for my children.

If you are looking for a happy school that nurtures your children and pushes them to their fullest potential, I strongly recommend ABWA. Wonderful teachers and staff. Very bad school good teacher are being removed and the most important is their fees is increasing but service very bakwas also they changed the school to IB and these year it was compulsory for bus faculty(not in any school) also icse students have to wear white shirt even they were icse which is very rude even the lift is only used by IB not by Icse

This is a great school where all aspects required for an exceptional growth of a child is covered.The physical education department headed by Johny Sir and Shraddha Ma’am play vital role in our student’s learning.With their help we students learn about discipline.Johny Sir’s expertise in various sports has greatly benefitted us students and because of him all our interhouse sports events are seamlessly conducted and we students get to learn a lot from him.I would also like to thank him for his dedication towards us students he works hard for us from making us capable for interschool events to registering us for the events then waiting back with us and helping us practice and then supporting us in tournaments wholeheartedly.He has always helped me personally in excelling in my field.His calmness helps us students to share our problems with him and he helps us get the solutions which again greatly benefits us.I would also like to thank him for toiling hard in any weather for us students during our beloved sports blocks,encourage us in karate blocks,inspiring us with yoga asanas.I feel greatly indebted to all the teaches in our beloved school.If I want to express my gratitude to all our teachers then the characters limit in this review writing will be short.I like my school and our hardworking and dedicated teachers.

Greetings of the day. We are happy with our children progress during the academic year. We are happy to know that the school believes in the overall development of the learner. Physical education (sports) is also given importance and is part of the curriculum. Teachers are kind but some are very rude or aggressive like krishna trivedi miss was my child's teacher and most of the teachers are very welcoming 🙏and curriculum is also very good teachers need to improve behaviour a little bit but miss gaytari the teacher of 5A in 2020 is really kind and helpful in her math classes and tasneem athar miss teacher of 5B 2020 she is also amazing

HVB GLOBAL ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
The school not only delivered classroom education online but also maintained the emotional and social connection between fellow students and teachers. This helped Siddharth to remain morally boosted and cope up with the social isolation.

An old memory. Robert Money High School is now Edubridge International. Although the management have reformed the culture, they have retained the structure and its essence in entirety. I appreciate the form that the campus has taken.
