Co-Education
Can education be less about memorising, and more about making a memory? Can a lesson be touched, tasted, smelt and seen, instead of just read? Can we mould empowered human beings, instead of just skilled students? At Ekya, we can. Ekya is a community of learners, thinkers, doers and changemakers.
Ekya stands for a sense of togetherness, collaboration and unity – Ekya is a community where everyone forges ahead with purpose. The word Ekya is derived from the Sanskrit sounds of unity and individuality. It embodies the spirit of collaboration and togetherness while allowing space for the individual to grow. The Ekya logo can be interpreted in many ways and we love seeing students derive their own meaning from it.
Drawing on the legacy of the CMR Group of Institutions and the innovative, immersive methods of school systems around the world, our schools were instituted with one aim – to teach children not just what to learn, but how to learn. Here, knowing how to learn is a skill in itself, and the key to creating lifelong learners with the means to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing world.
So, welcome to Ekya, the place where we live the lesson. Every single day.

The school offers a well-rounded curriculum that balances academics, extracurricular activities, and character development. The interview process here is HR not keeping the follow ups and when you call them and make sure that they respond they feel offended and just call for the demo for name sake and reject the person wantedly and waste others time.

Sensible parents concerned about overall development of your child, don't send your kids here. Your child will most probably go through emotionally draining experience at that school, its a suffocating experience. Principal's attitude towards parents concerns is lackluster, she defends herself and her school arrogantly, she is a bully, but doesnt show it on her face. Infact we complained to the founder of this instution, she doesnt seem to care as well.

This school stands on government BDA land. BDA has given this land on lease as Civic Amenity site for the benefit of the local population. The school has IGCSE curriculum too, and ICSE affiliation also. The school charges two lakh rupees Rs.2,00,000 minimum as fees and school bus charges, uniform charges, book charges which run into more than sixty thousand Rs.60,000. School has no play ground. It has converted basement into basket ball court cum ampitheatre and prayer assembly hall. Little kids are made to climb stairs from basement to higher floors after the assembly every day. Cleanliness around the entrance and walls outside needs a relook. Owners of the school decide everything and principal has to obey their orders. Fees are not in line with the services and facilities they provide to the children. Teachers must be treated with dignity. Parents must have some say in the school. Parent Teacher Association does not exist here. Most reviews on Google here are by the school staff or parents made to review. For example, Saroja Vedantam (2 reviews) is a teacher, Karthik is also a teacher, and so Anjana, Prafulla, Shanti Sivaram, Jeevitha, Prerita and more, all employees. Don't trust anyone in any school, talk directly with parents and find out more. Ask all questions before taking admission. Before signing any forms, read carefully. Before marriage and after marriage things are always different.

A well managed school with a good location. Excellent teaching staff that encourages the students to think rather than being spoon fed. I am very pleasantly surprised how well the pandemic year went through with minimal to no hiccups. Things were well planned and parents feedback taken at every stage.

Ekya has done an excellent job during this pandemic. The academic year 2020-2021 went so smoothly although everyone were pushed to their limits in terms of learning new technology and keeping on tops. The children adjusted to everything very quickly and the school helped them in every way possible. Ekya J.P Nagar has been very open to suggestions and also very good in coming up with solutions to each and every query or doubt raised by parents. The management and teachers did a wonderful job in making this chaotic experience an easy one too. Keep up the good work Ekya and keep rising above the levels in every situation. Warm Regards Ekya Parent.

We have been with EKYA JP Nagar for 6 years now. I am extremely happy with the school and would highly recommend it for three reasons - Firstly, the academic advantage. The curriculum followed by this school is a amalgam between ICSE and IGCSE boards. The topics taught to younger classes focus more on concept than memory-aids. I have noticed that as early as Grade 4 children are exposed to a wide range of topics at an introductory level which makes it easy for them as they move up. - Secondly, the attitude of the staff, teachers and support staff alike. The enthusiasm of the teachers have been exemplary. Not only are the teaching methods interesting ,they collect detailed feedback on the pupils, their strengths and unique abilities and how to improve them. - Finally, we relocated to Dubai for a period of 2 years and returned to EKYA( by choice ) in 2019. I just say I was pleasantly surprised with the way EKYA handled the COVID situation. The online classes were neatly planned , the links given to students were seamless with no place for confusions, homework distributed and collected on time and tests conducted on schedule! We are very happy to be back with the EKYA team!

In a journey of 9 yrs with Ekya, I have seen Ekya evolve in various ways but their core focus on academics, warmth of teachers and administrative staff, encouraging and friendly environment of school has stayed the same. I really appreciate Ekya's endeavour to stay updated with changing times. Their seamless transition from on campus to online mode was really impressive, and though my child completed her entire academic year of grade 10 online, she never felt the need for any additional tuitions or coaching. I do give credit to school for a well rounded development of my child. The career counselling sessions and talks as well as internship program for high schoolers are innovative and valued programs of Ekya. I feel the school can do better in sports and suggest that more competitive exams should be introduced in school for secondary students. I am thankful and wish all the best to team Ekya for their efforts.

My Husband and I feel to grateful to EKYA school and all its core team members for doing a commendable job in managing to conduct the online classes for our little ones in these uncertainties and making sure that our children would not have to miss their learning due to the pandemic. Firstly the school as such has done a great job in organizing the classes through the Schoology app and from the first day of school they have ensured seamless learning experience to our child and its user friendly features makes it easier for us to connect to all the sessions without any hassles. Secondly and most importantly we would like to thank Sanjita ma'am for her incredible amount of patience and her unique way of connecting with my child to help her get accustomed to the new way of schooling at this very young age. We as parents were very apprehensive about the online classes for our daughter as we felt she was too young and were very unsure if she would be willing to sit through the classes and it was difficult in the first few weeks. But it was Sanjita ma'am who instilled that confidence in us and she with her level of patience and efforts got our daughter to enjoy and connect with the classes by her own wish and will and she showed immense love and care to our child and her potential for learning. We can vouch for the growth in our child with respect to her personal conduct and vocabulary skills along with whatever she has learnt as part of the curriculum to the efforts and unique way of teaching and interaction of Sanjita ma'am and also would applaud the way each child is given equal attention with respect to their age and learning abilities. She has put in additional efforts to connect through one on one session with her personal interest to help the child so that she can feel more comfortable to adjust to the virtual interaction and also to ensure the child is following what has been taught in the class. Today our child enjoys attending school even though it is only virtual at this stage and looks forward to meeting her teacher and her friends soon in the physical school. We also would like to thank all the teachers for putting up a great show at various virtual celebrations held by the school on different occasions and also conducting these CCA activities and competitions where the parents for the first time get first hand experience of the child's activities and participation in the school. We now would look forward to the social interactions to be held at school for the children and request the school to organize a social interactive session at school involving the parents too if possible, as we are eager to meet the teachers and other parents in person which would have been possible by now if not for the pandemic. Ekya School JP Nagar is your typical neighborhood school and comes with high academic standards. The teachers are wonderful. All of them exhibit a sense of caring and warmth apart from providing a good learning experience. The school leadership and non-teaching staff are helpful as well. Even though the campus has a limited play area the kids still get some active play time during the week. There are after school programs available in the school, some of which are conducted in the nearby Ekya branch school. It has been my daughter's home for learning for the past one year and half. I must say it has been a great experience on the overall.

Dhwani's odyssey with Ekya Schools JPN started 4 years back and she has really enjoyed the school. I can definitely vouch for the teaching methodology adopted at Ekya basis Dhwani's and her sister's learning progress over the years. She adores and idolizes her Montessori class teacher Ms Shikha who has set a wonderful foundation for her and this is being strengthened and taken forward by her grade 1 class teacher Ms Anusha. I would also like to call out Ms Ashwini who's been instrumental in Dhwani expressing and showing keen interest in Computers. Thank you teachers of Ekya schools for ensuring our trust and confidence bestowed on your school to make our daughters ready and absolutely capable to face the future!!

My daughter has been with Ekya for a good 7 years. Their methods of teaching and interaction with the kids are extremely innovative and effortless. The teachers are extremely efficient and very co-operative. My daughter has never had the need to go for tutions even though she studies in the ICSE syllabus. My only grouse with the JP Nagar branch was that they do not have a playground but they seem to have compensated that with their approach , school activities and extremely approachable staff. According to me, their areas of improvements could include more extra-curricular activities and if possible a better and physically challenging PE. All the very best to Ekya and am sure you are set to grow and inspire many students and other institutions .
