NPS started its journey in the year 1959 under the pioneering effort and careful nurturing by our Founder Chairman Dr. K P Gopalkrishna and Senior Principal Dr. Santhamma Gopalkrishna. NPS Rajajinagar has been known for its academic excellence, discipline and ethical practices.
Today NPS has more than 1800 students on its roll and has the honour of being granted Autonomous status by the CBSE, Govt. of India. This is an honour given only to two schools in the country of which NPS Rajajinagar is one. Every year batches of students leave its portals as assured confident young citizens, ready to take on the challenges of life and equipped with an enduring set of values.
Our alumni have spread to all walks of life ranging from IT and medicine to fashion designing, from law to theatre. They have proved to be effective leaders and successful entrepreneurs in various fields. Our guiding principle at NPS is to ensure that our students go forth out into the wider community empowered with a sense of ambition, confidence and absolute faith in their own innate abilities to pursue and follow the paths they have chosen for themselves.

One of the worst schools. I spent most of my life being belittled, bullied and harassed by both the teachers and peers. And when I would complain to the teachers about bullying they would do absolutely nothing and instead harass me as well, It became so bad to the point, I was severely psychologically damaged. And had to leave the school as I had to take up professional therapy and Medication and still suffer from anxiety. If you plan on sending your kids here study the course outlines they they offer properly. As most teachers don’t put that much effort into teaching, additionally there is a lot of bullying that happens. I hope either the staff or chairman take consideration of the environment that ALL the students are studying at and do routine checkups and evaluation.
