School is good; we have found enormous improvement in my son who is in K2 class. The teachers are excellent, talented, always supportive and caring, specially classteacher Ms. Anoopa. I am giving a 4-star rating but deducting 1-star due to repeated issues with the provided transportation. Our experience with it is currently very poor; school buses are rarely on time, often causing delays in getting my child to school. The school management should address this issue by collaborating with the transportation team to find a solution.

The annual function at OIS Haralur was a resounding success, thanks to the exceptional management by the dedicated teachers and supporting staff. The leading teachers played a crucial role in orchestrating the event seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and delightful experience for everyone involved. Their commitment and coordination added a touch of professionalism to the festivities, making it a truly well-managed and memorable occasion. Special thanks to Vasavi Ma'am from K2 A for doing a great job with my daughter's performance!

About feedback requested for annual concert 2024 Good attempt by the teachers, staff and management in organising the concert. However below are some points which could have been improved: * The timing of the concert of our ward was very odd - 1 to 3 pm as there was no snacks for the parents leave alone even a mini lunch. * A bigger venue could have been selected where the eager grandparents could have been allowed as well. Also, parking should have been ample. * The annual concert fee of 2000 is not at all justified based on the above issues and the arrangements done. * The stage view should be unobstructed from all seats. Photographer's umbrella flash hitting us every now & then & a light array obstructing the stage view prompted us to opt for the balcony. * Costume was given on the last day of practice & the nothing could be done about the fit. Also few days rehearsal with costume & with the actual props could have prevented unpleasant surprises. For example, the dance group of our ward's class had practised with dupatta in the rehearsals but in the annual concert they were given a tiny scarf which is not possible to manage while jumping & dancing even for elders. It caused a feeling of disappointment in our ward whenever someone asked how did the dance go. * Collecting our wards after the concert was difficult. Maybe the teachers themselves didn't know & one of them misdirected us to keep waiting at a spot. At last the front desk helped us figure out that we had to go to the stage area where all were crowded.

Annual Function was plan really very well. kudos to entire staff, teachers, organisers and security staffs. The months or preparations went well and it was blissful to see little ones dance so well with theories cuteness and imperfections! Thank you for creating such memorable moments for everyone. 😊 Few things team should improve on: 1. Dispersal: it was chaos at time of dispersal though the announcement happened grade wise but execution lacked. primary kids reporting time and place was same a pre primary exit, so crowded it became it was hard to see the class line and where to find our kid. There was an exit gate at auditorium, exit should have been planned only through that, with one side completely blocked for just dispersal and other side open for primary kids reporting in. 2. There should have been some arrangements for parents for coffee or snacks, they could have paid and taken. Some of us were there for 4-5 hrs. 3. If we knew the flow we could have at least went for washroom in between. Half of time we were scared to go outside what if our kid class will come next.

1. This time the annual function was organised better than previous year. 2. Overall Experience is better than last year 2. However one feedback - whenever you organise any dance event, please ensure that kids in second or third row also get opportunity to come forward and perform (even for 1 minute performance, please plan one shuffle and rearrange move) 3. One more point for final or closure act where all kids walk on stage - please ensure that each kid face stage instead of teacher coming in front and kid stand behind the teacher. 4. Next on costume - the selection of costume was good but if you see taking fees for the same, please ensure that its fitting well for each kid. You should arrange for a trial and then get the fitting done well in time. Else, give link to buy the costume and let it be headache of parent to get its fitting done. Also the charges for costume was too high (700 online vs 2000 charged by school for oversized dress)

Since she enrolled at orchid, I have noticed significant improvement in her performance and overall well-being. All was good only one issue is that the dancing lights on the back of the stage were hitting directly to eyes of people sitting towards back of the hall which was bit irritating and not comfortable watching kids performance.

Took the admission for standard 1, it is a good school, the curriculum gives importance 360 degree skills like public speaking, dance, singing, music, sports, swiming, along with studies, but it all depends on students and how parents encourage them, they have app that shows the classes taken for the day homework to be done in a daily diary format. Teachers are good but they keep changing so do meet them regularly to track kids progress in PTMs etc. Overall we are good with my kids progress.

I am highly disappointed with the school management for not being transparent. There has been frequent change in class teacher and many teachers left the school but no information provided to us.
