Their admission process is pathetic. They don't really stick to their own ideologies of selecting the kids and look into all the money minting opportunities from their parents and select the student accordingly. They don't prefer to select the students from nearby society where students can come by bicycle etc .
They waste the parents time in huge way and don't give clarity on admission process .
Except the greenery and village architecture...I don't see any alternative methodology

The best of green schools..!
They do believe in a concept and do apply knowledge into putting that to act. I went there for a meeting and happened to meet people who were acquainted to school just like me, all of the 15 people were completely impressed by the ambience, staff, hospitality and their planning. Amidst these high profile educational institutions with best infrastructure, either undertrained or low numbered staff, this one just stands out. With nonuniformed students happily greeting teachers with a graceful cheer in voice to cleaners knowing the purpose of our presence. All that I could find there was a different approach to everything inside their campus, and it was a whole different world that I totally fell in love with. Missed taking pictures.

Have had the good fortune of being associated with the school for 12 yrs now, and have mostly good things to say about it. Indeed, they are heavily influenced by J.Krishnamurthy's philosophy and perhaps also mimic to an extent The Valley School, however I believe they may have some good differences as well. This school is definitely not for everyone. People who are impressed by top notch buildings, smart classes, IT labs, swanky gym, plush auditorium and upmarket feel would be severely disappointed. The school takes minimalism very seriously, but does focus on essentials that give true value and meaning in terms of fundamentals, character building, making good citizens and social contributors. The spiritual and intellectual depth, honest inquisitiveness is what is nurtured. Their focus on holistic and clean food, can be a big turnoff as they shun the idea of junk and fastfood. Their focus is on community building at grassroots level. The most important point is that, I've not seen a single day that kids do not look forward to go to school. Now even if one strongly believes in all of those ideals, there may still be some quirks but show me one school which appeals 100%, 100% of the time. Given everything, I have to say that so far I have no unpleasant memories.
Edit: Have to add that, this is perhaps one of those very few schools that took RTE seriously. You would fine kids from genuinely less privileged sections of society who are given equal opportunities, treated equally and fairly, given additional boost when required. Also their attitude towards honest, like-minded staff, who are in-tune with the philosophies of the school are well taken care of, based on what I've seen, felt. Overall, if you are a minimalist, spiritual, simple person, with a tradition oriented value system, you would love this school.
PS: I am neither a promoter, nor related to the promoter, owner of any senior staff in this school. This is an honest appreciative, satisfied user review.

My experience? I remember my teachers were good but the I got suspended for 3 months for chewing gum during my 10th grade finals. Had to learn on my own and write my final board exams.
Come to think of it now and after studying in London and US, Indian schooling system needs major improvement and needs to focus on things that matter.
Hopefully they sacked the granny principal by now.. Still stuck in 1950 if you ask me.
Research from the American Dental Association even shows that chewing sugarless gum stimulates saliva flow, which reduces plaque and helps prevent cavities. No wonder the granny had some rotten teeth.
FYI - the teachers were awesome though

The school runs on environment conscious ideologies. The student-teacher relationship is the closest I have ever seen. Due to the restricted number of students in each class the teachers are able o give them individual attention. The canteen food is healthy and nutritious. The field trips are a beautiful experience. Life-projects are frequently undertaken. The academics are given attention. Extra-curricular talents are encouraged at a young age itself. The students from this school have an environment friendly attitude. They recognise the dignity of labour. Moreover, they eagerly await going to school everyday.
