Casa Montessori was Founded by a Parsi lady, Ms Dinoo Dubash in 1934, and until her death in 1991 she remained the guiding spirit behind its success. The institution remains Parsi owned to this day and her good work is being carried on by her niece Ms Nazneen Dubash .
Nazneen Dubash shares many of her aunt’s beliefs; most importantly that Casa Montessori should cater to the Middle Class and that good quality education should be provided at reasonable fees.The founder Ms Dinoo Dubash , was a great philanthrophist, and made many generous donations to various charities both in her lifetime and in her legacy. Nazneen Dubash shares her aunt’s commitment to help the poor and every year the gate money from tickets sold to the parents for the annual concert , together with an equal amount added by the school is donated in the late founder’s memory to a deserving children’s charity.
