Springdales started as a small nursery and kindergarten at the home of Mrs. Rajni Kumar, the chairperson of Springdales Education Society and her husband the late Mr. Yudishter Kumar, Barrister at Law and Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court. Today, the school – with three full fledged campuses at prime locations in New Delhi and a fourth one fast taking shape at Jaipur – is symbolic of a progressive educational movement inspired by Beaconsfield in Britian, brain child of Bertrand Russell, Badley’s Bedales and A. S. Neill’s SummerHill as well as the educational philosophy of our great Indian educationists like Mahatam Gandhi and Rabindra Nath Tagore.
Springdales epitomises vibrancy and freshness, dovetailing much of the ethos of the new post-independence India into its educational program and philosophy. Privately managed, the school is a secular co-educational one integrating into its curriculum concern for the environment, the spirit of community service and international peace and brotherhood.
Besides spacious classrooms and playgrounds, we have fully developed facilities for each department, with Maths and Science laboratories, a Computer Resource Centre, well stocked libraries, an auditorium and open-air stage, and a Teachers’ Learning Centre. At the end of class X and XII the students appear for an All India examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
“Vasudhaiv Kutumbkum” which translated from Sanskrit means “The World is a Family” is the motto of Springdales and indeed is deeply etched in the heart of every Springdalian. It is a concept which greatly influences the thought process and value system of all pupils –past and present – as they look upon the school, the community, the nation and the world as a part of the whole family of the mankind.

One of the most disgusting and over rated school. Clearly the teachers are so much behind money. They literally haras parents for gifts. Parents we should not be scared of teachers which they intend to do. L

My daughter was studying in this school past, 6 years. Presently he is studying in Grade 3 in different school. Last year I had withdrawal him from the school. The school management is not bothered about the issues we as parents face. My daughter was harressed by senior students in washroom and even teachers, as we are litte darker side. I took alot of courage for me to upload this review. I had taken the issue with my daughters class teacher. I was just informed that (we can not.look into what is happening in washroom.) It's my.personal review.

It used to be exceptionally good while I was a student here. However, the disgusting behaviour of the middle school staff in 2023 has made come down to this level. Believe me, don't get your kids admitted to this school. This school is in the top ten for their extracurricular activities. Educational and management of the students wise, they're pathetic. I would love to call out names here, however, I'm not a narcissistic like those egoistic middle school teachers. Not all are bad, but most are worse.

Overall the school is good, but when it comes to extraction of money from student it ranks first in whole delhi. First:The school organises fate every year for which students have to pay for the stalls bring items (gifts) for the stall and then they are forcefully made to buy a whole booklet of fate for entry, even if he don't need he have to buy it, then comes the intresting part where to play games at the stalls the children would have to buy coupons. I don't understand that why the school is organising the fate, if the student have to bring all items , pay for stall, and when they win the game they are awarded by the gift that they had contribute. Second: the school collect money at various time during the years, for example house money, i don't understand for what reasons they are collecting house money and for what purpose it is used , because the school never ever told us about the contribution of every student towards the house money and its objectives. Third : this school does not have a proper teaching standard , teacher leaves the school in between and no arangements are made for the new teacher, it almost take 2 or 3 months to bring a new teacher due to which students academics are affected but the school does not bother about it Fourth: the p.e.d faculty is worst . They don't have manners to interact with students, they shout like a dumb monkey everytime and if a class has their p.e.d period ,they will either be not visible on the field for the class or may be having their lunch all the time during the day. They let the class play in the Ped period according to their own will or mood otherwise they always refuse specially to the children's of class 10, 11,and 12th. I don't understand why the school is not taking actions toward them. The school should introduce review form to the students to keep the track of the teacher but the school fails. Fifth: it's shameless that the school rather than providing sheets for the tests to class 6,7,and 8 ,they ask the children to deposit 2 packs of supplimentry sheets to the class teacher, which are then used for the tests. Though the school advertise itself as a top school in delhi but it fails to meet the standard of the teachers and specially the higher classes face the problems

Although this school may be fine, but the worst aspect of it is the lack of communication; they do not provide adequate information regarding admissions and other projects, and the teachers are baise and do not allow students to participate in class.

Worst school ever, most disappointing experience to study here, I am a 12th class passed student, the teacher comes to the class, screams for no reason and then starts playing subway surfers, do biased marking, no matter how hard you work or how much you score they always do biased marking. If you get your child enrolled here, he will get crazy, the teachers and students both here are bullies, they don't practice inclusivity, they have 4-5 children who they take to dumb low class competitions and boast about those students. Teachers never give anyone a chance only a select few get a chance. Pls don't waste your money here. Get your child admission somewhere else. I have wasted my 14 years here. It was really disappointing to be a "Springdalian".
