The Gitanjali Group of Schools was founded in 1985 by Mr. Uma Karan and Mrs. Gita Karan. Mrs. Gita Karan has been an educator with over 40 years of experience and is a recipient of the National Award for Best Teacher by our then President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Under her leadership, the school has continued to innovate in teaching methodology and cultivate life long learning within our student and teacher community. Mrs. Karan even today provides personal attention to oversee the progress of each child enrolled in a Gitanjali

Our award winning schools have grown rapidly and are considered among the most prestigious schools in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The curriculum is rich, the standard is high, and the number of students in each class is restricted. Our schools are committed to a smaller student population with available square footage per child on par with large international schools offering personalized teaching and more participation opportunities. The medium of instruction is English, and the first languages taught are Hindi and Telugu, and the second languages offered are Hindi, Sanskrit & Telugu.

We regard education as a building process. We have a proper plan, a system for efficient implementation of the plan, for checking/follow up and for corrective action when things go wrong. Once the students are with us, we follow them up until they succeed. That explains why there has been not a single failure in these 30 years. Academic results are excellent not because we are selective but because our teaching is methodical, comprehensive and well planned. We encourage children to achieve their maximum potential. Teachers and students share a close rapport because of the limited numbers in each class. They never try to know whether the student is understanding academics or not they forcefully make students to do unnecessary projects consuming their time and keep the exams without giving proper time to children.

Best school for ICSE in Hyderabad. I’m a former student of this school. If students are willing to take up the challenge to study in ICSE I highly recommend it. But the competition is tough and stress levels will be high compared to CBSE and State students. I accept since the school is old the infrastructure might be old the teaching maybe harsh but if the student wants ICSE and if the parents are willing to take the strain caused by the tough curriculum and train their children this is the best school I recommend. This school will improve the students communication skills and take English language at its peak.

Worst school that I ever saw ...they don't care about kids moreover they ll forcefully make the students to do other wrks other than academics.. money hungry school. .they won't give any respect to parents...if we question them also they won't respond to u at all moreover they ll say like "we don't need to consider u for anything except fee ,we know how to run the school without parents"...They r very rude with parents

Worst experience with teachers especially class teacher, they don't take care children and they expected much from children as well as parents, they don't have patience to tackle children.

I highly recommend this school... This year only one day he went to school, then lockdown was announced. He was missing his school but Online classes during lockdown brought back his happiness.. He is excited everyday to attend his classes online. Teachers care about my child and keep us informed about what's going on.

Although this is supposedly one of the best schools in the states, it is all a facade. The management is horrendous at doing it's job, students wellbeing is not bothered about, non academic tasks are forced upon the students who are unwilling to perform them. Another thing is that this is an extremely money hungry school. The infrastructure is nowehree justifiable for the fees and excess charges of the school, with no one branch exceeding even half an acre in land. There is no generator facility, the water is clogged and the school is literally flooded during rains. Would definitely not recommend to even my worst enemy. As you can see in the attached photo, the school is literally fully flooded after heavy rain, no less than a swimming pool.

Worst experience by the management, there is no value for human beings, they only say we are valued but not as per reaility, they treat students who dont qualify as they are not intelligent.... worst school with worst attitudes by the principal.. principal is worst
