"The School was founded in 1947 by Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III, when India gained independence from the British. Since then, the effort has always been to provide the best education possible to students from all backgrounds by investing in and maximizing utilization of our infrastructure and resources. We use an education pedagogy that is developed by the Aga Khan Education Services (AKES), to give young children the support they need to sharpen their minds and develop self-confidence. Apart from the spacious classrooms, we also have an audio-visual room, art room, two computer labs, three science labs for Physics, Chemistry & Biology, two separate libraries for primary and secondary, different play areas and a number of indoor and outdoor sports to foster the overall development of the students."
