This is the worst school I have come across, I used to attend this school from 4th grade to 10th grade when i chnaged schools. This school is corrupt they do not teach their students how to behave and so many participate in bullying those delicate kids. Most kids are spoilt brats in this school. The school was the worst part of my life and if i could go back and redo time i would have attended another school i am very disappointed in all their spoilt behaviours. Not all the teachers are good here only some teachers are like the english teachers but some foreign language teachers are terrible people and other teachers not all the foreigners who teach at this school are good, all the good foreign teachers are at ASB.

Very nice and structured school building, with a reasonably sized playground. Neat and clean. The security personnel are not so vigilant, so improvement is required. The auditorium is nice and big. Overall I would rate the school as well organised.

The school has hired some cheap teachers from mount litera school without considering the experience of the teachers. The school is about to decay itself by hiring bad quality teachers to save some peanuts and the fees is really high which is spent in the salary paid to expatriates or foreigners.

Ecole is been sold out to JBCN management. All the good teachers are joining Oberoi. Bad future for Ecole kids as JBCN has bad reputation as compare to Ecole. JBCN terminate teachers without any warning and cant afford expensive experience IB staff. Ecole use to pay good salary to bad white expats and bad salary to indian. Both Ecole & JBCN are bad as IB schools. Future of education is now on the head of coaching classes nearby.

Almost all the good teachers have left the school as the management had change to JBCN. The school don't pay well and hire new staff that dont have any IB experience. The top leadership like hods and coordinator gang up and don't allow new expert faculty to be hired. Please don't waste you money in this school. Recently they hired a teacher from Billabong high Andheri physics teacher for MYP teaching making the life of students difficult.

Felt like a second home, especially when the staff goes out of their ways to help you and your child feel comfortable. Over a decade passed away, yet feels like just yesterday when we were trying to find the best educational and overall institutions fir our child. I am so glad we made this decision and chose Ecole Mondial to help us mold our childs future.

First off, let me be very clear. I am not a parent talking from second hand experience about my child's time in this school. I'm not another guardian warning you about it, telling you not to attend. In fact, I'm a former Ecole Mondiale World School student who has studied here for 9 years telling you how I felt and what my experience was. I first came to Ecole in nursery, barely around four years old and stayed in the school till the second semester of first grade. There isn't much I can tell you about the time, seeing as I was very young and don't remember every detail, but I do know this. When I shifted out of Ecole to an international school in Singapore, I thought of it everyday. I thought of my friends and teachers, of all the art activities I had, of the various activities I used to be involved in. For years, I was bullied in Singapore. But everyday, without fail, I would find I was thinking of my friends back in EMWS. This was why the moment my family shifted back to Mumbai, I immediately insisted on rejoining EMWS. To this day, I don't regret it. When I rejoined Ecole in the second semester of third grade, it wasn't exactly smooth. What I do know though is the moment I entered the class, before the teachers even began to introduce me, all of my friends recognized me. Every. Single. One. I can't explain how much that meant to nine-year-old me or how happy I felt in that moment. Over the years I found a lot had changed, including my friends who figured I had, too. But sometimes change is for the better. I studied in Ecole for the next five years, getting to know my friends once more and both loving and hating various subjects. Now I'm not going to say Ecole is perfect. I won't give it a glowing testimonial and say it's the best school on the planet - it isn't. Instead, I'm going to tell you all the things that I liked and disliked about the school. It's your call. 1. The students. Sure, the school had it's fair share of dim witted idiots and a couple of mean kids here and there, but in general, most of them were pretty friendly. Each student had a reputation in class and one way or another, you had a spot. I made some of the greatest friends I'll ever have, from a super tall, super smart and super awesome best friend (she's super everything, really) to a couple of kids I'd spend days speculating about new Marvel movies with. 2. The teachers actually t e a c h. Sure, sounds pretty obvious, but as a kid who has been in multiple different schools in three different countries, a lot of teachers just don't. You might find that people tend to criticize the academic levels of the school, but to be honest, they were actually pretty high. The teachers thoroughly explained every concept and some of them were pretty great. 3. The heads of the school were actually pretty decent. I can see a lot of negative opinions of Mr. Nick or Ms. Ushma or Ms. Diane, the previous heads of the school. They weren't in fact that bad. If anything, they were good at getting drama sorted out without upsetting a lot of people. 4. There is, however, stuff about the school that wasn't so great. Kids who do go to Ecole generally break off into friend groups - in a more negative light, cliques. Sure, this in itself isn't too bad but where there are cliques, there is drama. There's always something or the other going on and more times than not, you're dragged into the middle. I've done a lot of questionable things and been in not-so-great situations, many of which I regret, but you live and you learn. Then again, this is MYP I'm referring to, a culmination of both middle and high school. If there isn't any drama, it won't exactly be that. What I can say about this school is it has some amazing people and a lot of caring and considerate teachers. Sure, it isn't perfect but nothing truly is. I didn't realize how much I loved Ecole until I left it, but I'm bound to always remember. I still keep in touch with some of my friends and had some great times. Ecole is a lot more than a school full of spoilt brats and heck, I know I miss it.

There is not enough space on here to talk and warn new parents about putting their kids in this "International" school. So will try this in a nutshell form. .If you are a NRI, AVOID this school.Ecole is no where close to what you have grown used to. Generally, the school tells you when you first join how strict they are on tardiness, appearance, conduct, no phones during class time, long hair has to be tied back, certain standards of school shoes, zero tolerance on bullies, etc etc. So, all the above is abosolute nonsense. Kids waltz in when they want. Shoes, the more branded they better. Hair? Wear it how you want . Skirts, pull them up as high , admn has no issues. Netflix is watched during class( my kid did this too). Now....then MAIN reason for this review..if your child will be in Grade 9 for the year 2019..GOOD LUCK TO YOUR CHILD! Last year in Grade 8, it was divided into 2 grps..8.1 and 8.2. 8.2 ,which my kid was in, had some great kids, but, the other toxic mix of spoilt, vicious, nasty and downright lowlifes was something new to us. The aim was to gang up on kids that did follow the "mean girls" gang. Our kid was targeted so badly by a group of 4 girls. So much so that the parents of some of these girls got involved( truly a case of having nothing to do in their own lives, so sit at home and twiddle their thumbs in how to spend the day and run the pathetic xmas carnival each year) spread the rumour that my kid was suicidal. ( This said by parents that BOTH have sat in jail for crimes) The evidence of all directed to our kid by phone chats, whattsapp msg, screen shots was taken to Ms Diane,Mr Nick and Ms Ushma. Any other school after seeing all this would have expelled the main bully and put the rest on probation. One kid hacked into an account of a child that left and sent messages. Another had her boyfriend in England send a nasty msg to out kid. Think after showing the msg, the association with proof, the msg between this bully and our kid and boyfriend, the school did anything? Nope, Ecole decided that then the proof was not valid enough to take action. The action from the school made us realise, they are in it for the money. They are not interested in the mental or physical state of a child. Certain parents have bribed the school with gifts and special favors. This is clearly seen when the concerts happen, most kids get 1 min to perform, but certain kids get up to 2 mins!!! The bully actually made a statement that the school will do nothing as her parents were very rich. She would just get a detention which meant sitting in an office in school with her laptop watching netflix..Brilliant! This school does not do justice to the name of a International standard. International kids.Good luck trying to find International kids, you can count the number of international kids in the whole school on one hand, thus, Ecole does not have the International feel to it. Saying that not all the students and parents are warped. I have met some great parents and kids from other grades. Just be aware of putting your kid in the upcoming Grade 9. Please look into the other schools in mumbai. These foreign admins come in for the fat salaries they get because we Indians are obsessed with the color white. They do not care about our kids..oh and there must be something wrong when 14 teachers make a exit at ONE time at the close of the school year..just saying.

The worst so called International school in Mumbai. Our kid, who has attended International schools in multiple cities, in India as well as overseas, couldn't wait to leave this school at the end of the academic year. Our kid, a grade 8 student, was subject to bullying by the classmates. And I am talking nasty bullying, verbal and mental abuse, just because, our kid grew up in a different environment, and does not come from a filthy rich family, whereas, most of the kids in this school are spoiled brats, bragging their branded shoes, clothes, phones etc. Bullying extended to cyber harassment, to cyber bullying, name calling, hacking social media accounts. When this case of bullying was brought to the attention of School authorities, Mr. Nick, head of MYP, and Ms Diane, Head of School, it is their lack of action, to address the situation, is what shocked us. Such arrogance, as well, FEAR, to pull up the kids in question and take disciplinary action. They did nothing. Repeated requests to address the situation, yielded no results. They are such incompetent people, leading the school, that even if would be the last school in Mumbai, I would not suggest you to put your kid there. Our kid, who was academically strong, started to perform poorly, hated going to school. The discipline in this school is non existent. When taking admission, they will tell you all these rules etc, but in reality, kids do what they want...use mobile phones in class, watch netflix and other online channels, as well using social media in class, foul language in class and around school is cool...cyber bullying and direct bullying is common., hair coloring ...no issues!! 18 months in this school, our kid has gone through, so much mental harassment, that I would never wish anyone's kid to go through that! I have never in my life, written such a negative review...but, this school, its management, have forced my hand in writing this review. We have also reported this, to the Ministry of Education, as this school needs to be seriously audited, by the authorities, to see what going on.... So, in short...if you want your kid to go through bullying, harassment, not get any education, but watch netflix and be on facebook or instagram during school hours, or learn to use foul language...please send you kids to this school...!! Otherwise, there are better, options elsewhere...Oberoi being one of them...!! Barring a few teachers, who were excellent (but they have left in the meantime!!), most of the faculty is also not competent...just like the Middle School head Nick and Head of School, Ms Diane!!! Thank you
